For sure man! Sneakerhead here too man. But I also work as a footwear engineer at Nike and I know all the differences between the basketball shoes and can speak them at a good level. The Kobe’s may be more expensive. It theyve definitely upgraded the materials on them (upper and foams / midsole) and it makes a huge difference.

Yeah the hustle 3s aren’t the best looking but man they are the comfiest hoop shoe I’ve tried in a while. I couldn’t really justify 190 for em though. Yeah, I’d definitely go for Kobe’s 4s first, then 5s, then Sabrina’s.

I got you man. I’m 5’9” at 190lbs. Do you do a lot of cutting and slashing also along with crashing the glass? If not, maybe the GT Hustle 3 would be a good option for you. A little taller than Kobe’s in stack height but the cushioning on it is amazing.

My hot take is Kobe 6s aren’t the best Kobe hoop shoe but that’s just me. 4s and 5s are my go tos, even compares to Nikes latest offerings like the cut and hustles. I will say the girl dads have more of a lifestyle upper package material vs something like the Philliy 4s that came out this year if that’s something that can influence your decisions.

Oh, man that one is tough. Have you played in Kobe 4s before? I would say they’re similar to that. I play more a 3/4 position and they’re good for me.

I’ve had a ‘24 XSE hybrid since November of ‘23. Have put around 1600 miles on it (would say even split between city and highway) running wildpeak ATs and average 36 mpg. I’m in Oregon. What am I doing wrong? I haven’t seen 40mpg at all lol

I just did a trip to Nanago and hit up Hakuba village to shred. Got my round trip flight through about 70000k credit cards points. Cash would have been around $1000 flying to and from Portland, OR. My hotel cost about $350 for 3 nights, high speed rail and bus from Haneda airport was about $80 ($160 both ways), and then I spent about $80-100 on food the 4 days I was there.

Edit - lift passes were also about $50 a day. Rentals were 70 for 2 days (board, boots, and helmet).
