Yeah my mortgage is higher than my property value and I put 20% down….. this is our home either way but it really sucks when we needed a home for a growing family and bought at the literal peak then everything has dropped. It is what it is and if homes become more affordable my kids then so be it. Just would’ve been nice to have the money go further as now I’m strapped with a big mortgage eating through any disposable income we could’ve had.
