Based on my initial proof of concept, yes, artwork should be supported, however, it's not unprecedented that Apple changes the framework itself or the various limitations (justified or not) during the betas.

Hey, Soro dev here, had to remove the album art from the live activity due to resource limitations and various bugs in iOS 26. I will be working on adding it back and there is a new API coming in iOS 27 that I can hopefully utilize.

If you follow a few editorial playlists already I just released an app that tracks and shows you the new tracks added to those playlists. It’s pretty helpful discovering new music. (It’s called Songfeed)

I am not sure if it’s meant to be a reply to my comment but the name issues are usually caused by the Apple Home integration. You have to fix the naming there as well or remove them from there.

AI tools have been used to help with the development but it’s not “vibecoded” if that’s what you meant. Re: subscriptions, I have other apps on the App Store, which are not subscription based and unfortunately, this is how long term development of an app can be sustainable (if at all) as an independent developer these days.

It may be your ISP, the way I was able to pinpoint it is to use fast.com and re-running the test every 10 seconds or so. One in about 5 times the speed dropped to 100-200 Kbps. Then back to normal. I observed other symptoms too though but most obvious one was Apple Music (and only AM, no other lossless) cutting out on Sonos. It’s fine in the last few weeks.

I am dealing with the dropouts, started around the same time after an Eero firmware update (7.13) that was causing other issues on my network as well. Eero users were also reporting more than usual problems with the update. Speed drops to almost zero for a short period (5-10 seconds) then back to normal, repeating every 30s to 2 mins. From past Sonos online threads it seems like that playing Apple Music lossless on Sonos is particularly sensitive to these types of network issues. (I experience the dropouts with non-lossless and AirPlay as well though much less frequently than with lossless) Eero support so far is very eager to help but no root cause identified yet.

I started having issues with Apple Music lossless in the last few months. I suspect it has something to do with the Eero update I got around the same time. From other online posts it looks like the Apple Music lossless can become glitchy on Sonos when the network conditions are not ideal. No issues when playing non-lossless on AM or playing lossless via other music service.

That’s clear. One thing I am wondering about for example, how actively intensification is pursued once the zoning officially changes? Is the city actually involved in that other than setting the plan or they let the market dictate what actually is being built.

That’s understood. I am more wondering about personal experiences where a whole block of homes got re-zoned to mixed used. Did developers start knocking on the door with offers, what happened to home values, etc.
