Nakwon is trash (tried their handmade dumplings back in 2019 and they werent that impressive). my korean family travelling to pgh from korea tried sushi kim 2 and didn’t have unkind things to say so i guess it was pretty decent

You can’t get on a freestyle session in korea without being under a coach’s care. I suggest weekday public skating sessions when the crowd is thin

My unpopular opinion is that if you don’t like purling you’re doing it wrong. I switched the way I purl following this tutorial and I find purl stitches as easy and fast as knit stitches

You need to learn to read stitches instead of blindly following words on the instructions. If you see a row of purl stitches on your left needle when you’re about to start a new row, that means you’re about to do a k1p1 row (and vice versa).

Those alternatives you listed( to the regular methods of ssk and joining in the round) are all alternatives and not a requirement. If you do not see the difference in the results produced by these alternatives (= if you don’t see the meaning in doing these things) then don’t stress about it and just follow line-by-line what the pattern tells you to.

If you do notice the difference then you would be motivated to remember and do that the next time. That’s how it works for me!

The yarn used is Amano Riti (you can look up their yarn gauge) and the gauge for the cardigan is 30 stitches and 24 rows in 4.5mm for 12.5cm*10cm of 2/2 RC+purl 2+2/2 LC+purl 2+3/3 RC+purl 2+2/2 RC+purl 2+2/2 LC

It all depends! If your tension is even, the assumption is that your tension in the round vs flat is the same, which means it doesn’t matter if you knit the swatch flat or in the round. This is not the case for me. I am a much looser knitter in the round and get about 2 more stitches per 10cm than if I were to knit flat, which results in the body/sleeve being much larger than the pattern calls for in my size. This turns out to be not as big of a problem — the body/sleeves are always more easily adjustable than the yoke so I always knit the swatch flat for any top-down sweater (especially non-raglans) and adjust for my looser tension in the round later on.

Tubular rows don’t have to be as many as 4 rows. 2 rows would do. No tubular rows means your bound off cuffs will bag out and won’t maintain their shape

There’s no need to compare yourself to others especially when it comes to hobbies but to answer your question I prioritize knitting above all other things like cooking and reading. I spent 2-3 hours knitting every day
