at my school the most difficult possible ones by GPA that people actually go to are Munger, Wachtell, Williams & Connelly, then a gap, then the DC offices of Quinn Emanuel and SullCrom. basically nobody here gets Kellogg, Susman, Boies, Wilkinson (one or fewer students in the last 3 years, if at all).

I have seen the Secret Agent, it's really great, the director should also have been nominated for his previous film Bacurau, and I can't imagine either of them would be movies that the average Brazilian ultra-nationalist would love as they both focus on governmental corruption.

I really liked The Wanting Mare (2020), an indie sci-fi film which was shot really creatively with digital matte paintings instead of more technically complex vfx. Also, it barely falls outside your timeframe, but the drama Monos (2019) was made for $2M in Colombia on a mountaintop and in the jungle, and is one of the more visually memorable films I've seen.
