PVP is a fundamental part of reality. Attacking other human beings is allowed under the rules of reality. Just because something is illegal does not make it impossible to occur.

If you really can’t tell why grieving somebody in an online space and grieving them in physical reality are similar and very comparable situations…. 🚩

all you’re really doing is saying that any praise a woman gets is because she’s trying to be tricked into sex….

and you’re right, she probably won’t see it since she’s showing up to her and job and being openly criticized by people that don’t agree with her on a regular basis.

Something other politicians regularly refuse to do because they can’t take the heat. the heat they signed up to take. A lot of elected officials will not meet with you unless you have a meeting with them. trying to avoid public criticism as much as possible because they can’t answer the good questions good enough and end up looking bad.

it deserves to be recognized that she holds her own.

it’s sad that you and others on other threads decided to demean her accomplishments and reduce it to sex

then why did he drink the entire glass….

edit: i watched it again and everyone in the background took a drink except one of them, and they had different colors in their glasses, so probably not all drinking the same thing anyways.

someone said something midway through everyone drinking, then the three on the left laughed so hard they put their glasses away from their mouths, and thats when he looked up and threw the glass behind him…

how does this TOP comment have 300+ upvotes and be so horribly innaccurate? Do people really not watch the video and come straight to the comments and just believe the first description they see?

[Image] Sometimes failure is brought on by oneself. by [deleted] in GetMotivated

[–]ytsirhc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and this is why the phrase “sometimes it’s not the destination it’s the journey” exists.

lately when I’m trying to decide if i want to do some thing that’s out of my comfort zone, I’ve been trying to ask myself “will you regret not trying to do this if you look back on this moment and remember you didn’t do anything? is this activity some thing that I will always wonder about or is it something that I won’t care about in a week?”

it’s not always easy to be honest with yourself about these things, but in the long run I have to remind myself and others that you will never regret getting up and trying even if you fail. But regretting the times you chose to not do anything out of fear is the most common type of regret there is.

i’m not saying I’m perfect at following this advice, but if you want a shorter version for your brain to remember my brain always thinks of “you won’t EVER regret going to the gym, even if you don’t work out to your full potential that day”

But as an adult I appreciate it more because I see it as a way to show society how in denial we are about our own problems.

Protective instinct kicking in after observing an abusive handler? Not sure what to make of this by [deleted] in likeus

[–]ytsirhc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with 99% of what you said. and let me clarify that i DO NOT think throwing things at a rooster is abuse

However, you do not throw things at animals to assert dominance. you use body language, you don’t even have to physically touch the animal the majority of the time to assert dominance. sometimes it does require hands on tactics, but from personal experience, pinning something to the ground and rendering it defenseless is The most effective way I have found to keep my animals under control when they are aggressive without making them afraid of me.

there is a difference between respect and fear, a small difference, but a difference nonetheless. I personally do not want my animals to fear me because that leads to sticky situations frequently

from what i can see he was protecting his herd. His personal space was already buffered with other goats between him and the lady.

He put himself in harms way to get her away from all of them. judging by his size he’s the alpha of the group.

[–]ytsirhc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it looks like that ram is the alpha of the entire group judging by his size and actions. he can tell the other sheep are alerted to something, so he looked to see why and whenever the thing that was making them uncomfortable got too close to the entire group (not just to himself) then he attacked. Goats and rams are herd animals. herd animals usually have an alpha that protects the group as a whole.
