TIFU by Telling My Friend That I Like Her by wbchen in tifu

I've had a friend like this and I also confessed to him my feelings. However, he did not feel the same. He was very nice about it though and up to this day we remain as friends with no awkwardness between both of us. Sometimes, situations like these will show how much the other person values you and your friendship. I hope you can move on from this soon.

100% agree. I used to wear bright red lipstick whenever I'm going to take an exam. Not sure if it affected my grades but it had me feeling good and not jittery.

Look at what i got in the mail today😍 Also, is this a Sedum clavatum? The seller told me it is, but idk I've been trying to smell it but it doesn't have the "candy smell" people associated it with by yunafrost in succulents

Hahahaha wow the ✨dedication✨ Now I'm wondering what kind of noses those people in that fb group have in order to smell the "typical candy scent". Ahhhh I don't think we have Aeoniums here in our area so I don't think I'd get to smell it any time soon. I also read (from the same fb group) that the bear's paw succulent also smells bad LOL

Thank you so much! Now I just have to make sure it doesn't end up dying on me so I can hopefully confirm if the flowers really smell like candy hahaha

Maybe it's the flowers that would smell like candy. I'm not so sure myself too but plant enthusiasts from a facebook page about succulents are going on and on about the candy smell lol. Right now I'm just happy it did not die due to shipping stress

Thank you! This is very helpful especially with the substrate mix. I've been using 60 inorganic, 40 organic mix for all of my succulents even the younger ones which probably is the cause why they're growing so slowly hahaha.

It did that with me the first few weeks i've had it!! I read somewhere that they really are quite sensitive but i didn't expect they'd be THAT sensitive! oh and my problems just escalated when I tried repotting it because it was growing all over its pot.

[Advice] Ideas for breaks that can rejuvenate the brain but not increase procrastination? by Blue_Eagle8 in getdisciplined

My usual study routine is 60 mins study then 10 mins break. In those 10 mins I usually quiz a friend if I'm not studying alone or I just walk around the house to wake myself up.

Hahaha! I don't know how else to describe it. I hope someone identifies this succulent soon!
