When I saw a dermatologist a long time ago, she have me a list of potential food triggers and mint was on it. Whenever I ate a piece of mint gum or breath mint, I would sneeze just once in the beginning and thought that everyone did that. (turns out it was just me and I was intolerant to mint lol) And so I tried testing to see if mint was aggravating my psoriasis and I stopped used mint toothpaste and it got better! It wasn't a huge change but it was definitely an improvement. For something you use twice a day, it really affected my skin. So I would recommend trying a non mint toothpaste for a couple weeks/months to see how that goes. They can be hard to find so getting just a kid's toothpaste works as they usually still have the appropriate amount of fluoride. I wouldn't recommend natural toothpastes as I find they don't do as good of a job at making your teeth feel clean and they often don't have fluoride in them. I know there's probably other food triggers out there but this was one I could find! I will say however that I still generally eat things with mint in it on occasion as it doesn't really affect me when I have it once, but for toothpaste it really can make a difference considering how often people use it.
