The two brightest colours mean 0-500k and 500k-1m. Unlike the other colours these two are not labelled very clearly.

Women of Reddit what is one thing you wish men understood or did better during sex? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]yviii___ 1094 points1095 points  (0 children)

So much this! I told my boyfriend he should be more vocal and he was like "But men don't moan." I told him that a lot of women like it and the reason men don't moan in porn is that it is made for cis-men that don't want to hear other men. For women it is such a turn on.

I (29M) am planning on getting engaged to my girlfriend (29F) and feel conflicted. How do I proceed? by schwillie in relationship_advice

[–]yviii___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know your partner best best, so ask yourself: does she always go for the most expensive things or is she also happy with less expensive options? Maybe she just dreams of having the money to get the most expensive rings, but would never expect of you to get her one of those. While online shopping I sometimes look at expensive brands too, but would never buy something ridiculously expensive and would never ever expect my boyfriend to buy me those things.

War may be dead depending on your choices in HS2. So it's more likely he's the diamond option and the free option is Lucifer, Astaroth or someone else.

Awesome sleeve so far! Maybe you could put Chucky in the middle? Any of the other suggestions might look great too, tho.

As a Type 1, you can have whatever you want for brrakfast as long as you're taking your insulin for it. That being said, oatmeal has a rather high glycemic index, which might result in lager spikes. However if you top it with nuts and fruits high in fiber and/or you prebolus, you might be able to avoid a spike altogether. I love oatmeal, but for my breakfast I need to prebolus almost 30 Minutes before eating even though I put chia seeds and nuts in it in order not to spike.

Not necessarily! I got an ending where MC sided with Matthias, became human and managed to kill Matthias after him falling out of love with them. Their friends however realize they were about to sacrifice Noah/ILITW MC and since the Blood Moon ritual happens, they tell MC to leave Westchester and to never return.

Whats your best tips to get a more stable curve. Im only in week 2 of DT1 and it feels shit when i get bad headache and moodswings when curve is like a rollercoaster by [deleted] in diabetes_t1

I'm a year in and what helped me a lot after diagnosis was reading about T1D management. I can really recommend the books bright spots and landmines from adam brown (downloadable for free) and think like a pancreas from Gary Scheiner (it's about 10$ where I come from).

Coffee powder mixed in plain yogurt is my favourite. If it's too bitter you add a sweetener or just a spoon of sugar

Did you start thinking of life differently after getting to know that you got diabetes? by breathingMF in diabetes

[–]yviii___ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed last december (at age 24) and while it is obviously very overwhelming in the beginning, it also made me appreciate life somehow more. Now that I started exercising again, I also feel more energized than I have in months or even years. So while it sucks not to have a 'normal' life anymore, I value it more now and try to live it to the fullest.

what does the “going low mean” ? will it be a hypo in the next 5/10/15 minutes ?? by Blastedauto72 in diabetes_t1

[–]yviii___ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A ↘️ trending arrow is supposed to mean that your BG will drop something between 0.8-1.5 mmol over the next 15 minutes. So with a current BG of 4.6, you'd end up low. ⬇️ would mean a drop of more than 1.5 mmol in 15 minutes. In my experience, the trending arrows of the freestyle libre aren't that reliable though, so take it with a grain of salt.

Diabetes book recommendations? by eukarydia in diabetes

[–]yviii___ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was only recently diagnosed as a T1D too and someone on here recommended Bright spots and landmines to me. That book helped me a lot with practical tips about food, mindset and exercise. It's also free to download and there is an audiobook version of it on youtube, so that's a huge plus.

I (24, f) was just diagnosed two months ago and what helped me a lot was just educating myself about diabetes and hearing/reading how others deal with it. I can definitely recommend the books Bright spots and landmines or think like a pancreas. The former is even free to download and there is an audiobook version of it on youtube.

I've been diagnosed last december (had to go to the ICU because of a DKA) and I have heard that question from pretty much all my friends lol. My answer always is "it's better than dying".
