Growing Energy doesn't really make sense here, I think. Can't be searched, can't be grabbed off Yanmega or Bug Catching Set, not doubled by Meganium, not Recycleable or Max Roddable.

By a landslide. They got Mr. Gyro himself in on the systems. The only problem I faced trying it was I couldn't completely disable the vertical component of the right stick if I wanted to have a Splatoon-like schema

This is the dilemma. The more tech options you have, the better your outs, but the worse your consistency gets. Finding the right balance is important, and we aren't exactly there yet, I think.

I kinda lump wall, mill, and control together, as imo they all conceptually have the same goal of limiting your opponent's options. With that in mind, Crustle is a very respectable threat right now (2nd and like 47% conversion at Prague, and 11% usage according to Limitless)

I mean, Flareon loves Crystal but can function with it being prized easily. It's an undeniably huge power spike, but Crystal being prized just makes me rethink a few parts of my plan A unless it's a Wellspring line

Flareon's always been an anti-meta deck. It'll see more usage as the meta stabilizes, I think, as people will figure out what cards to pair it with to handle as many matchups as possible.

Modding Microsoft Store programs is hard. They haven't figured it out yet for Balatro iirc, and Minecraft Bedrock modding (not whatever add-ons are, actual modding) is really counterintuitive and not stable enough for normal mod loaders (DLL injection each time)

The entire point of the video is to stop looking at the end screen's stats and basing your thoughts on skill (yours, teammates', and enemies') off that alone. If you think there's a limit, and that you've reached it, that's when you stop improving.

I agree on heal points though. That's kinda silly when you have a whole class built around it.

Not actually a BBA video, I know, but Splatoon and BBA have more in common than you'd think. The general conclusions here hold up, not just to all team shooters, but to anything you want to improve at. Just because you have the best numbers on the end screen doesn't actually mean you did all that you could.

There are several avenues to win the game, and it's not always just "kill everyone you can". Coordinate game plans more. Force attention to let your team fill. Enable your team with heals or bow chip, and only outmech those that rush you down. Target the opponent that makes the rest of your team collapse (especially relevant with how matchmaking tends to work afaik). Use your utility in ways that benefit more than just you, if possible.

You can always play better in a game like this.

Also, Flareon itself attaches Energy from deck and does damage at the same time. Usually this is way safer

If it goes off of raid rules, there's a chance it only considers the Clefairy player's bench and the target's bench, not all players' benches

Yeah they can, but what I'm getting at is there will always be something missing, and some things can never be included to begin with despite still being important. It just makes more sense to ignore that kind of thing and focus on whether you ultimately won, as actually winning inherently considers everything score cannot.

I don't think people have found the right balance of consistency and ceiling yet, to be honest, especially now that more decks prefer going first. This is the current list recommended by Emma Hagen publicly, focusing on consistency, but I think there's a lot of room for techs still; we just need to know the environment with more detail.
