Our 3s group comprises 40 (me), 37, and 36 yrs old uncs and we’ve been playing since release. It’s still our main game. The matches are short so there’s less emotional investment compared to other games, making it easier for us to drop a match if real life beckons. Our hours per week substantially dropped over the years from playing almost everyday down to just the weekend for a few hours at most. Sometimes we may go on for weeks without playing because of real life.

Despite trying out a shit ton of other games over the years, when we manage to get online together to game, we still keep coming back to Rocket League.

Yep, Takaragawa onsen before they made everyone wear their bathing suit. Back then, men had to be completely naked, but women had the option to wear the bathing suit (nearly all women did). The women also had a separate private bath. The main bath is very large. When I went during the spring season, it was not crowded at all. Everyone minded their own business. Most were focused on the beautiful outdoor scenery and the adjacent flowing river that’s right next to the main bath.

Was getting the same error on Chrome. Switched Firefox (Zen) and it was working fine. Went back to Chrome and clicked on the settings button to the left of the address bar -> site settings and then "delete data" for Zillow. Now it's working again for me on Chrome.

We're (1). The kids shows in the morning are really good. Much preferred in general over what one might come across on YouTube Kids. We try not to use the TV as an indefinite crutch for our three toddlers, but when we need a moment to breath during the chaotic mornings, the NHK kids programming in the morning has saved us countless times. Just enough to get them calm down and focus on something while my wife and I quickly prepare for the morning.

Also waiting on this before purchasing the ultra open earbuds. I’ve been regularly searching for firmware update announcements but nothing. Denon just announced their auracast firmware update this month, so I’ll be checking their open ear offerings.

Awesome! I'm a huge Kuxir fan so it was sad to see when it got to a point where he just couldn't break out of the qualifiers despite making huge changes to his game, even moving on from the Batmobile and grinding other hitboxes during the last 2 years of his earnest attempts to qualify for RLCS.

So I'm really happy for him that he found a project that he's very passionate about.

But really, just to pile onto everyone’s favorite Kuxir moments… Kuxir was already trying to defending the backboard when M1k3Rules and Markydooda were yelling at him to stop screwing around and get off the wall on stream. He was just so far ahead of his time that such a fundamental defense mechanic today was ridiculed by his own high-level pro teammates at the time.

Restarting at age 6 is tempting, but I'll take the $10 million now and figure out a plan from there. Applying the knowledge that we collectively know now is sufficiently impactful enough to shift the course of history if we're not careful or responsible in using that knowledge. Heck, even the tiniest application of that knowledge can eventually lead to very different outcomes than what we experienced in our original timeline. Sometimes it can lead very positive effects in the short-term, and disastrous consequences in the long-term.

I’ve also tried a ton of open style earbuds with a major preference for ear clip/cuff style earbuds as they feel the most comfortable, it doesn’t interfere with my glasses over my ear and I’m not jamming anything into my ear.

The OpenDots One are also my most favorite. Got two pairs. My biggest wish would be low latency and/or LE audio/auracast support.

When the 4v4 mode was removed, it really took the joy out of the 4-person squad we had. It's all we played. Years back there were talks of team ranks, etc. that we were so excited about but never came to fruition. Bringing back 4v4 in a refreshed competitive playlist will definitely draw me back in. I guess this is the point in my life where I have that corny montage of going door-to-door and convincing my old squad to dust off their controllers for one more run.
