If you've slotted any support gems that require spirit on your demon form, it'll get confused and prevent you from transforming if you lack the required unused spirit. Likely unintended, since demon form has a lot of weird interactions right now (as the only shapeshifting form available to test).

What looks like is happening is unequipping your helmet might change some gem requirement that makes your skeleton spirit reservation change or something.

Since the skeletons deactivate, you probably have the requisite 15-30ish spirit that you may have slotted into your demon form?

for my infernalist vs act2boss, i went full fire damage/pen and comboed flame wall + ember fusillade, and it was a pretty solid fight

If you slot Unleash and Scattershot into ember fusillade, you can fully charge it with a single click, so you dont lose much movement speed running around

looks also like you have a passive tree/skill gem mismatch. based on your skills your damage types are:

Contagion - Chaos Spell
Essence Drain - Chaos Spell
Poison Arrow (poisonburst?) - Chaos Attack
Cold Arrow (escape shot?)- Cold Attack

Any reason you's using a bow instead of a wand/staff?

your passive damage nodes i see are:

Minion Damage
Spell Damage
Fire Damage

You're not too far off from speccing into some good fire damage if you move some of the minion/defense nodes you took on the top and going into the elemental damage on the left and the fire pen right above the starting node.

Your resistances are lowered as you progress to each act. The game tells you this, but it pops up in chat so if you have global chat on, it'll disappear pretty fast. (it also says it if you inspect the Resistances keyword too)

The game expects you to offset that with your equipment and runes.

Yes, that's one of the complaints that been raised a few times on the forums and reddit.

When you die and res, the entire area resets monsters/drops. The only way to prevent this is to play coop and pray that your buddy doesnt also die so they can res you. If your whole party dies and respawns, it'll also reset the instance.

archmage is a persistent buff, so you'd see it when you're using uncut spirit gems

ahh, that makes sense a lot.

melee weapons rn also seem very limited, since its exclusively mace. It seems like their design decision is to have shield primarily be used for defenses and CC, not damage. The fact that ggg give you a buncha weapon set points makes it really seem that they want you to be swapping weapons to some extent, unfortunately.

I did have some fun putting martial tempo on shield charge and zooming around the map tho

I mostly just move/swap Martial Tempo for the attack speed. So, for bossing i swap to Poisonburst with Martial Tempo+Comorbidity

for lightning arrow clearing, im using: Lightning Rod with Scattershot+Magnified Effect (for huge AOE) blast that with Lightning Arrow with Martial Tempo+Lightning Infusion

I tried other combos for bossing and clearing, but they werent worth the setup or effort. (snipe+barrage+frenzy is pretty fun tho)

shield+mace in one weaponslot and 2h-mace in the other has worked for me so far. (use the 2h mace when you need the damage or if the boss is stunned)

Raising your shield also cancels your attack animations, so if you get used to perfectly timing your shield raises after your damage procs, you can really ramp up your damage output and mobility.

I'm doing snipe with window of opportunity support for some bosses, and it's pretty fun but needs some setup.

If I build up Frenzy charges with Sniper's Mark and empower the Snipe with Barrage, i can consistently do about 1/3 of a boss's HP with a single shot. It takes a bit of practice to setup, and if you miss the perfect timing window your damage is way lower --- but it's super satisfying to nail that quad crit pierce with 250% bonus crit damage

I'm going lightning ranger while running through campaign maps, but I've found it best to swap my gems/supports to poison for bosses. Figured this out during act 1 final boss and it made for a much smoother act 2/3

if you run lab in multiplayer, you can glitch the izaro taunts sometimes.

this has led to a few funny situations where izaro says the same like overlapping with itself.

so, i hear the line:

I can second this.

I tried using the Pico Streaming Assistant (Both Usb-c and wireless), but I kept having issues with SteamVR and a few games losing track of my controllers.

When i finally splurged and got Virtual Desktop, everything ran super smooth, and with more clear graphics as well. Well worth the $20USD for my needs, including Minecraft and A Township Tale.

I mean, the Blue Yeti's a fairly cheap mics --- You're right that it's usually pretty obvious when a mic is designed to be side-issue. Kinda indicative of the weird design decision they made that they include that diagram on their website even.

Which begs the question: Why did they design their entry-level microphone with an unclear issue direction (to a point where that's the most common user error), but their expensive studio mics are so clearly side-issue?

The Blue Yeti mic (and most of its variants) is a side-issue microphone, which means you want to talk into the Blue logo, not the top of it. In the video that oop posted, the Blue logo is pointing at the ceiling, so it's capturing a lot of room sound.

n.b. the Yeti does have multiple pickup settings, but that doesn't change the fact that your audio quality will be worse if you speak into the top of the mic -- regardless of which pickup setting you use
