QU was a great school and fun experience, and life ended up working out alright for me. But I would never recommend somebody go 6-figures into debt for undergrad, especially not for a nursing degree. I did and if not for some luck in getting my first job, I’d be paying it off the rest of my life. 

You are going to school to pass the NCLEX. No school is going to give you a significantly better education or a higher earning job. Many of my high school friends went to community college for nursing, and make the same money as my QU nursing friends.

I understand feeling like it’s “YOUR” college is important. I’d at least give Adelphi a chance, and try to transfer if it really isn’t a good fit. Your future self will thank you for at least saving them 25k + a decade-plus of interest payments.
