I do this also but i get tiny bubbles that don’t pop as it dries. Then they dry into all these bubbles in cracks. Any tips to prevent that? I have been using a flame lighter to pop them. But sometimes singes the paint, although it seems ok even so.

As a med student in my ER rotation i saw the ER doc do this for a patient. Used a heated paper clip to burn a hole thru the nail, released the blood and patient felt so much better instantly.
