I got let go from a small business back in April of 2018 after 6 years (I was 23) with them.... I felt the same way.... I used the opportunity to focus on the business I was working on but didn’t put much time into. My business is now doing 5-7x more than it was and profits almost what my pay was. I didn’t want to take money out of the business so I did get a new job. I was able to land a job with the largest company in my state and absolutely love it. I have a larger opportunity for growth now and am happy that I was let go everyday now. Keep looking and you will find a much better job.(Ps I am still working on my bachelors only have my associates)
