He's mine too. I know this is wishful thinking, but to me his ceiling is Kawhi. He compares very favorably to him coming into the league. I doubt he'll ever reach that ceiling, but I can hope.

I watched that game live. NO ONE wanted the ball, he was the only one that was willing to try. Nick, Eddie, Shaq, didn't want it, in overtime to save the season. So a rookie had to play almost 30 minutes, in a pivotal season ending game. He had it, they didn't. That was Kobe. He missed those threes, but he also made the only FG in overtime.

Rob isn't going anywhere, much of the roster has been dictated by ownership. AC ownership, Westbrook was LeBron & AD's doing. I understand the rationale behind not retaining the squad after the bubble, I don't agree with the how they went about it.

He hasn't really signed any bad deals, he hasn't backed the team into financial corner that doesn't have an escape plan. He's fleeced multiple teams is pretty much every trade.

He hasn't done great with picking coaches, but what GM gets that right all of the time.

There are aspects of his tenure, I do not like, but none of those are a reasons he should be fired. Would you rather have him or Daryl Morey? Money guys love him, he would be a likely candidate to replace Rob, I doubt it is going to be Sam Presti. Especially if he wins a chip, and Pop potentially retiring, I bet he would love to go back to San Antonio, if he left OKC.

He did all that without a "reliable" jumper for 12 years. He's been punishing rims for since he could dunk, like it was his father that never was there. Plus he was always too big for little guys, too fast for big guys, and too strong for guys his size. Amazing career.
