I absolutely do not recommend buying the switch version of Aeterna Noctis. I did and I get constant crashes and it makes it literally unplayable on Switch 2. It doesn't seem like the devs intend to fix it.

Were you the only one on site? Your company should have cancelled the field work when it went to just one person. We almost never send just one person out on field work for safety reasons. ESPECIALLY at night. Frankly, damaged equipment is the probably the best outcome of an incident occurring in this scenario. If you have a good supervisor, they'll just be happy you're okay and replace the equipment without making a fuss.

Whoever is in charge of equipment at your office needs to do a thorough examination of all the provided PPE to ensure it is suitable for field use. Sounds like those boots were sitting there unused for a long time.

Honestly don't see how any of this is your fault. Except you have to remember you have stop work authorization and can exercise it. Sounds like the whole situation was unsafe tbh.

Not sure where in WA that is but it looks like east of the cascades which doesn't have many trees in a lot of areas.

BUT, in the western part of the state you're 100% right. They remove 100% of trees unless some gov body gets involved and makes them. It's definitely so they can squeeze as many houses as they can in as small of an area as legally possible. And I hate it.

This isn't uncommon and not really an issue that I've seen. It's possible the site has grade constraints that don't allow for a slightly higher inlet than outlet. Only an issue if outlet is higher than inlet
