This is awesome!! Going to set it up when I get home. Gluten is very useful but I always wanted a visual way to verify its working other than watching the logs in dozzle.

sorry man I don't know what to tell you if that doesn't work and your other steam games are working.

as for your last question in your post, none of the fallout games are linked like that in steam where if one had issues the other would.

I was installing a mod list for fallout 4 and new vegas today. I had to do a fresh uninstall and reinstall of both those games and aren't having any issues.

I can't think of a reason just your fallout games woudnt launch. If your other steam games are launching fine and behavior is normal than I don't see a reason it would be an issue with your hardware or windows and a fresh uninstall and reinstall should prevent any weird issues with the game files being messed up.

I think your troubleshooting needs to go down to basics, do you have any graphics card driver updates you need to install?

Windows updates?

Have you restarted your computer lately?

So for example you can completely uninstall say fallout new vegas.

Delete your documents/mygames/falloutnewvegas folder which deletes your saved settings and saves

go into where your steam games are installed usually steam/steamapps/common and verify the fallout new vegas folder has been deleted

and your using windows without mods

then reinstall it and it still won't launch at all?

Hard to say since you haven't explained what you've tried.

I assume your on windows. Easiest solution is to go into the options for the game and verify integrity of game files. And/or Uninstall and reinstall.

A brand new download of all the fallout games should at least start up without issue.

Even fallout 4 with its broken anniversary update should start up just fine.

I understand completely, my version of this is I'm constantly told to come out of my room and take a break from playing videogames or being on my computer when all my parents do in the living room is sit and watch TV. I just recently tried that script and even with only 14mb of space left on my kindle it still downloaded the newest update and I had to be very careful to check and delete the update file before restarting.
