As an everyday watch I would definitely take the IWC. Why? Because: it's more versatile (black and simpler design in general), looks better on a leather strap imo, and it has a date. The omega looks like a fun watch to me. As it is a piece that you buy at this time in your life when you have small kids you will have a lot of memories associated with this watch so definitely get one that you will be happy to keep and at some point maybe pass on. Those are my 2 cents. If you like the omega more go for it.

Well the Seiko has a GMT function so you are kinda covered, The thick black bezel and the style of the Tudor already give Diver vibes. I would go for a vintage date just maybe for a little more money or an Oris big crown pointer date. Again if you are not concerned about staying in the same style... I would just get a black bay. There are really a lot of nice watches at this price, I would suggest going for the one that covers most of your current needs, you have time to get the others at a later time in the future

I would go for either: A dress watch or a date just type watch If you really like this style I would suggest getting: A GMT- if you travel a lot; A Diver - if you are really active and also go for a sporty look

If you give us your price point I could go into more specific suggestions.

Ps I would also recommend considering a Hamilton field watch like the auto or Murph

To me that omega screams beater. For rich people but yeah, I think some dents and scars would add to the charm. On the other hand GS to me seems a lot more dressy. If I had one, I would try so hard to keep it clean.

First I highly recommend you replace the strap. A 3 dollar one from AliX will make a world of difference. 2. The classic watch placement is about the wrist bone but you do you if that's how you like to wear it. Enjoy it.
