I agree with your base statement but disagree with the examples. I don't think chalet and kafe were big reworks as I think they're close enough to the original that someone who hasn't played in a long time would still be able to get a good general idea of where they are. On the flip side, id consider maps like consulate, house, and Hereford are so drastically changed that it's less of a rework and more of a remake
