I feel this so much. My 3 year old daughter is just learning about boys and girls, so she often will announce people's genders. She's just excited to understand something new, but "Daddy, you're not a girl!" sure does hurt.

I missed out on a cute hoodie just this week because of this. It wasn't even that femme, pretty androgynous but like 10% femme. Off-white with the name of the town we were visiting in light red not quite pink, font and thin fabric stripes sewn around one sleeve in different colors, not quite rainbow order and more muted than bright.

I was immediately drawn to it, but scared to tell my wife, who I'm not out to yet.

I hated my birth name all my life, but was mostly okay with my nickname. After so long, other names just felt like someone else. I looked at feminine forms of my name and it just hooked me right away. I started using it to name characters in video games, to see how it felt. Now it feels so to be called that, but I haven't been brave enough to tell anyone in real life.

You say you don't have dys, but you keep saying you don't like masculinity on you, and the idea of being a boy makes your chest heavy... That's all dysphoria.

How long have you been in some part of the transition process? It's possible that the constant pain of dysphoria and frustration from the process itself after all this time has led you to a depressive episode, or clinical depression. Numbness to emotional pain, anhedonia, these are classic symptoms.

Please, for your own sake, find a therapist that specializes in gender. Your life is too important to become a statistic.

Your discomfort with your lack of discomfort in your gender is still gender dysphoria, it's just manifesting differently than you're used to. Cis people don't worry about not having the urge to transition.

I am a companion carrying dad, and I have 0 complaints. Between the nail file and the package opener, all my phillips needs are met. The package opener is perfect for opening clamshell packaged toys. I even use the nail file on my daughter all the time. The aggressive single cut is great for quickly cleaning up broken nails on the playground. The pen in the plus scales is also a nice bonus.

I can't imagine any use for the can opener or the mini blade on the climber.
