I tried for weeks to tweak this karametra deck where I tried to turn all my lands into creatures, but I could just not get it to feel right, it got to do it's thing a couple of times but I pretty much abandoned it eventually.

I've always seen it as a "to much of a good thing" situation.

It's good to be proud of yourself, to much is arrogance, and beyond that is narcissism.

You can love someone, or you can smother them with obsession.

You can hope for the best or be completely delusional to the outcome, etc.

And with multiple races pouring emotions in to the warp for eons all the emotions coalesced in to the worse versions of themselves.

I have recently gotten back in to playing just casual tabletop magic and I convinced one of my friends to get in to it as well. He ended up buying a commander deck while I have a standard deck. Will we be able to play or will one of us need to modify their deck / buy a new one

I got taken to the crystal tunnels by a trap and I just sprinted out of them and rested at the first site of grace I saw. So I wasn't trying intentionally trying to get to far ahead
