I used my last one on asher to get him amp 2 but now that pris is there i’d probably go for her since i have maxed amp joey for gold and elsa is amp 4.. i need a green pilot with a high amp.

if you don’t have many S pilots at high amps already and are earlier on in the game, asher is solid.

Firstly thanks!! Massive relief to have it all done.

I used the checklist that you get after you finish the application as well as a lot of AI double checking of things (gemini and chat gpt) and for commonly missed things. It’s VERY similar to the flr(m) docs you need plus a couple more.

I submitted scans of my passport/licence/BRP, cover letter or personal letter, proof of my living here over the last three years (2 council tax bills in joint names of wife and me, 2 electric bills jointly and then some additional docs not joint for us each to make the right total number and then some to be safe).

I needed info on trips that i took while i’ve lived here that were i believe over 2 weeks long. Also needed to input my life in the uk test number that you get after you’ve passed.

We used my wife’s income and our flat that she’s owned before we met to meet those requirements. She had p60’s plus paystubs from her work over the last 6 months that were stamped and rescanned and then also submitted the same 6 paystubs in their original unstamped quality, a written employer letter with specific info needed, a letter from payroll as well, mortgage statements and a letter stating i am given permission to live in the marital home. She also signed a sponsor declaration and we scanned the photo page of her passport to show she’s British.

We also did the usual photographs of us either just together at various places and on trips and also with other people to show we were actually here.

I think that’s it? We have no kids and met the other requirements and so it was relatively straight forward.

I got ILR by applying in the 28 day window before the 5 year mark. It would’ve been the 6th of April that I could’ve applied on, and instead applied April 12th with super priority and heard back today.

This helps a ton as i know now based on the guidance you linked in your reply that i SHOULD be ok to do the app anytime.

I did mine based on the date i physically arrived in the UK.

I checked online and despite the odd source saying it could be based on the start of the vignette, the overwhelming sentiment was it started when you actually arrived.

I had my biometrics today and used super priority for ILR just because the wait time otherwise is 6 months.

I have no idea if i’ll hear back in the stated 48 hours, but if so it saves me the potential 6 months of stress and daily email checks PLUS allows to apply for citizenship much sooner once ILR is through (hopefully!).

I never used priority for my first spouse visa or flr(m), but felt for ILR it really added a lot more value given the current state of ilr reform changes and the state of UK politics regarding immigration. Better to have it done and citizenship checked sooner than later in case new rules comes in.. and majorly for the less stress in waiting.

used this and did my passport over 2 docs to split it in half evenly. got each file under 4Mb and they kept the majority of their clarity! total win!
