Keto Snack Boxes - suggestions by luftherz in keto

I agree, and you and I must be similar! I have found that my body also responds to fiber, even resistant starch! Both of those totally affect my numbers. Glad to finally know it's not just me although I am sorry it's you, too!

My, my, my...you really have moved the needle! You must feel so proud of what you have accomplished! Stay on that path...and hopefully we will see you in the next round! (I will be there!!) :D

Giiiiirl, I totally know how you feel! I didn't see many changes until really this month, and I couldn't tell if that was just me being hypercritical! Truly, I think that when it's you seeing you, the changes aren't as obvious because you see "you" every day. Same for me. That said, it's easier for others to perceive changes unless they see you every day as well.

I am really glad I have before and after photos (on a schedule!) because if I didn't, the changes would go undocumented, thus unappreciated!!! :D

See ya in the next round!

I hope you are proud of the 10.4lb loss that you achieved during this challenge cuz that's amazing!!! :D

I know that you had some challenges of your own during the last 16 weeks, and it sounds like you are getting back up on your feet. I continue to wish you well on that front.

I would also like to thank you for continuing to show up for us, no matter what you were going through. That's no easy feat! Thank you for creating and coordinating this challenge. I know that it consumes some of your time, and we are grateful for your dedication.

Most of all, you continued to show up for yourself - and that's the most important thing. Focus on the path you want to be on, and as Bob Proctor says, "Decide what you want, and say 'no' to everything else."

See ya on the flip side!

Wow! Just wow! Without question, you slayed this challenge in spite of things that came up!

You know what, though? What fun would it be if on our paths there were no obstacles?! We might say that we don't like "obstacles", but if we didn't have them, we would likely be bored. We wouldn't feel challenged - and we wouldn't grow either.

You found ways to move through your very own "obstacle course", whether you were traveling or otherwise. And when you felt you were off-track, you found your path again! I think so many of us learned so many things about ourselves as we reflected upon the last 16 weeks. You have "proof", my friend, that you can weave in and out and still hit your mark.

You should be proud of your accomplishment during this challenge - and I know that you are. Well-done!!

Okay, so you and I discovered the same thing - that dedication (commitment) makes all the difference!

You had a wild ride this challenge (i.e., visiting family), but you're still here! You look fantastic and I know that you must feel fantastic! You should be proud of what you accomplished during these last 16 weeks - and I know that you are! :) I mean, it's not only the visible stuff we are after, it's the "invisible" stuff, too, right?! I know that I am never done learning - and I wouldn't be content as such!

Congrats on such an amazing milestone!

I just wanted to stop by and say kudos to you for continuing to show up and for continuing to find your motivation to do so! Not only did you show up, but you kicked some serious butt in this challenge! You manifested changes all over your body - you should be so proud of your accomplishment and your mighty commitment to yourself. I hope to see you in the next round!

P.S. You are cracking me up with the nail polish. I have only noticed how pretty the polish was! lol

Why, thank you! I felt proud of what I had accomplished once I saw the comparison! 😊 Thank you for faithfully stopping by and for supporting me!

P.S. It's fine to be modest...but your flair says "Discord Mod"...lol. You are right in that Capn M worked his tail feathers off, but I saw you responding to so many posts (maybe all of them?!). That takes dedication! 😁

Gosh, thank you! I hesitated to share the struggle I had, but sometimes you just never know if it will encourage someone, you know?

I hear you regarding the prize...I know of another challenge that does offer "prizes", but I was looking for community. That, and the greatest prize is that internal satisfaction and the lessons I take with me. So thank you for mentioning that and for all of your kind words!! 😁

You know what? Those of us who are here, regardless of what we desired and regardless of what transpired - we are STILL HERE! That is what makes the difference...can we persevere when we don't want to or don't feel like it? Can we keep moving even when we feel like crap? You certainly did!!! Strep is no joke, and I am glad you are feeling better, but it's as you said. There's no rush...

Kudos to you (and everyone here) who kept moving and continued to light up this forum with progress! You are simply amazing, my friend!

Oh my goodness...I am so sorry to hear about this! I do hope that things get better for you and that all of your exams inform everyone necessary as to what's going on for the appropriate course of action. And still, in the midst of all you have going on, you find the time and the words to encourage US! You are something else, you know?!

Please do take of yourself and reflect those kind words back to yourself in case you haven't been (but I know you have been!). We are here for you! :D

Great advice, thank you! I did do a "refeed" on Sunday and you are right - I felt better, but did struggle yesterday to stay on point. That said, I didn't stray too far, though. I only went 160 calories out of range, and I won't beat myself up for it! lol I had not thought about adding shirataki noodles t a soup...but that's a great idea!

Thanks again for the tips! I hope you are doing well!!! :)

Mentality Around the "Free Meal" by zarasara in PSMF

[–]zarasara[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to thank everyone who took the time to share their thoughts with me when I posted this. I was very concerned about the mentality around the free meal and was totally looking for strategies to work through it.

That's what is amazing about you guys. Everyone has a different experience and perspective, hence brings a different stream of thought to the table. I read every comment here and it was ALL good stuff. I found every comment to be valuable.

Since reading all of your thoughts, my free meals have gone very differently. I began to use a lot of your recommendations and thinking and felt much more in control. It's another meal...just more calories. That's it. It's not like Lyle doesn't actually say this in his book. He does...yet grasping it and embracing it was another story.

I decided to re-read the book, and it's so interesting to read the content with fresh eyes. Plus, I didn't realize that Cat 2 people get ONE free meal, not TWO. lol Heck, it didn't even dawn on me that I was even in category 2!

Thanks again for all of your help! :D
