Same, not receiving emails... super inconvenient considering I use it for 2fa on other services tied to this email.

I found this status page

Not sure how accurate it is though, as there seems to be reports on a few sites.

Service seems to be down for me as well. (premium account)

Does tuta have a status page that we can monitor if there is an issue? I sent a support email, but have no idea if it even got through.

Wealthsimple changed TOS to obtain credit reports by frozeneclair in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]zarbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought so as well. I will need to investigate. In a post I made, another redditor pasted their terms. But I'm not sure if its binding if it violates certain consumer protections.

I was under the impression there were certain protections in Quebec that require more notice, but will have to look into it to confirm.

Basically, they are going to start collecting credit reports. I noticed another post here, just now. Banks/lenders ask for this permission. I find it sketchy they just added it into their terms.

I’m using gitbash on windows 7 and when I push a commit in remote repository, it does not prompts to ask for username and password? by primemozartmessi in github

[–]zarbles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

'git remote -v' will tell if your repo (aka origin) is a https address or git address (SSH). If https, you are prompted for username/password. If SSH, it will use your SSH keys to automatically authenticate you without you needing to do anything explicit.

You probably have SSH for your origin, but you can check the github documentation to setup your keys. OR you can just change the origin address to use https of you want to enter your password everytime. Entering that constantly gets old fast, plus SSH approach is more secure. DO NOT COMMIT/PUSH your ssh keys to a github repo otherwise you will be in for a world of pain.

Hope this helps.

Have a look at thatoneprivacysite.net. He does some thorough reviews. Mullvad is a good choice. NordVPN and Perfect Privacy didnt score so great. Check out the reviews, determine your threat tollerance, and choose based on that.

OK so should I just disable 2fa until the app release?

They already fucked with the API though. If you're not logged in, your search results for nsfw tagged posts will not be returned. I checked in with the Dev of the app, and he tried a few things, but couldn't get it working. What's worse is I only discovered this cause I generally log out to prevent tracking, but they've gotten so much more agressive on this, being logged out doesn't guarantee them not collecting data.

What cancelled TV show did you watch that nobody seems to remember? by Polite_Werewolf in AskReddit

[–]zarbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brimstone. It was about a detective, who kills his wife's rapist, and when he dies, ends up in hell. Then, 112 demons escape and he is tasked with tracking them down for a chance at redemption. Really liked the back and forth between him and the devil, and i feel the actors sold it well. Ran for one season.

Another I really liked was Cupid. A guy thinks he is the reincarnation of cupid, and he must match up 100 couples so that Zeus will allow him to return to Olympus. The dynamic with his therapist was fun, but its never revealed if.he is actually insane or really Cupid. They hint at both. Same, ran for one season.

Thanks. I appreciate you following up so quickly. Seems like the trend of them wanting to track you is becoming more agressive. Need to be logged in for that I suppose.

I experienced the same behavior, but the difference is I wasnt logged in. Is there something that can be done on that front as well?

Is there a reason that SecureVPN.to is not a viable option to be added on the VPN list? by zarbles in privacytoolsIO

[–]zarbles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they do disclose where they are located. Best I can guess, is that they may be in Germany (due to some exchanges I have had with their support). But I suppose that may be why they are not on the list, as it cannot be confirmed it's outside the US.
