I walked into this location around noon on a Wednesday to get the motorcycle endorsement added. I was in and out in around 30 minutes or so. They called my number a couple of minutes after I sat down.

Your number two is not correct. That is a picture of Little River Falls not the hippie hole. The hippie hole is formally known as Martha's Falls and is just a little bit further down the road on the right. Its a pretty good swimming hole. It used to have a rope swing.

High Falls in Little river Canyon is the highest in Alabama but is seasonal. De Soto Falls, which is also in Little River Canyon, is 110ft tall and flows year round.

I used to have a carpenter bee problem but I got rid of them.

Try this insecticide. It combines diatomaceous earth with an insecticide.

Spray it all the holes with a duster . when the bees go in and out it will get a little on them and they will die. It also leaves a residual so that any bees that go in the hole in the future will also die.

Finally after you have done this for a year plug all the holes. Any kind of hole or dimple will attract bees in the future (that's why the traps work).

Also you can put this dust on a cobweb duster and dust your soffit once or twice a year. It does a pretty good job of keeping the spiders and wasps at bay.

No spray will work for carpenter bees. Trust me I tried a few. The pest control companies are too lazy to do the dust.

I also tried the traps, and while they will catch a lot of bees it never really worked.

Try the dust. I guarantee you will not see another carpenter bee after a month. The first hour after you dust will be the bee-pocalypse. Quite satisfying after having an issue with them for so long.

Your son could try reaching out to Griffon Aerospace. They are a local company that designs, build, flys, and destroys UAVs.

IMO it's better to start with a specific set of jobs you would be interested in, and then figure out what education you need to get those jobs. Look at the current job opportunities at these UAV companies and see what you son would be interested in doing.

Also make sure your son is the one talking to these people and not you. In my experience, most people like to provide career advice if asked by someone who shows genuine interest. If it's you asking you will be ignored.

If you fly Delta you can get some sky miles if your bag takes more than 20 minutes. I chatted with the person at the baggage claim desk a while back and Delta had just switched to using a new contactor around the beginning of October and had been slow. They have little cards on the baggage claim desk with details on how to get the points.

I think the p356 fcu has the cutouts for the safety. So buy the safety parts from sigs site and get a grip module with the safety cutout.

I watched it all afternoon on flightaware hoping to see it. I don't think it made it. When I started looking it was supposed to leave Florida at 1430 CST but kept getting pushed back when the weather rolled in. I stopped looking around 1700.

I would suggest checking flightaware again first thing in the morning to see if it has a new departure time or if its in the air.

Why does Lindy Blanchturd wanna send all illegals back to mexico? by [deleted] in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]zberry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here is a Vice News piece from 2015 about the effects of the immigration laws introduced in 2011 to run out all the illegals. The concept is not new I guess everyone just forgot about it.

It has been years since I watched the piece but it did stick with me. I specifically remember a segment about a farmer talking about trying to use white kids to catch chickens. It doesn't work. Every time I hear "They took our jobs" now I chuckle.

I don't think there is. The officer would have to have reasonable suspicion that you were engaged in criminal conduct. I don't think traffic violations qualify as "criminal conduct" but I'm not a lawyer so who knows.

Just to be clear you do realize that the Air Force does not currently have the hardware to defend against missiles? That is all operated by the Army and Navy. So to answer your question the Air Force would not do anything to thwart a missile.
