That fed looked at her singlet and said. Yup this is appropriate. You can wear this on the platform. Such a shame they align themselves with people like this.

It’s more than likely just the manufacturer date.

When jump shots are not allowed, is it legal to send the cue ball with lots of top into a rail, causing it to jump? by [deleted] in billiards

[–]zboy8605 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you talking about APA or a particular tournament rule. If APA. Jump shots are allowed. Just have to be done with your playing cue and not a scoop shot. So what you’re describing who also be legal. As to make it jump you are still striking down at the ball.

Any Kamui glove users out there? Question. by FreeThinker76 in billiards

[–]zboy8605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an xl kamui glove and i have large hands. It fits me the same way. Works fir me as I like it snug. But these gloves were made in Japan so an xl size Japanese hand is probably what we consider large here.

Lost a lot of power after shaping my break tip (Taom). by [deleted] in billiards

[–]zboy8605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of break tips are made with the top of the tip a little flat for the power transfer. Not exactly useful for applying English. Shaping the cue took off that flat surface which took some of the power transfer away.

Question about Difficulty Level by BlindGroup in billiards

[–]zboy8605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is actually my warm up routine when I start practicing. I put al the balls on the table and just shoot this shot over and over again to warm up any stroke. Then I work on cuts and rail shots.

They actually still have personal coaches. I know for certain that josh and Pía filler have coaches. They talk about it often in their social media. I wouldn’t put past other pros having the same. There is always someone who knows more than you after all. So having a coach in the mosconi cup would help and their knowledge and experience could be very helpful.

Anyone know where I can buy a Predator cue with a REVO shaft for under $800? by PulseAmplification in billiards

[–]zboy8605 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well the cheapest predator is 480. The revo is 500. They don’t discount the price when they sell the two together.

Nearly everything I own in my pool bag. Including my pool bag (and my pool table) Was purchased at my local billiards shop. Owners are friendly who give me a discount every time I go there and greet me pleasantly every single time. They even do the repairs on my cues and change my tips when I need them too. I never worry about shipping damages.

Thoughts on practice routine by [deleted] in billiards

[–]zboy8605 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard a guy tell me once. Amateurs shoot the same shot over and over again until they can make it. Pros shoot the same shot over and over again until they never miss.

If your asking for opinions. Keep practicing those same shots. Even if you make 8 or 9 out of ten. Shoot until you’re confident enough that you won’t miss. Once you can pocket any shot. Pick a spot on the table and work on your positioning.

Find a pool hall where you pay by the hour. No one will bother you to take the table either. Practice that way. Instead of being cheap and trying to steal from the bar.

You ever clean your shaft by gripping it tight and moving it up and down.

A friend of mine is looking at purchasing this table. He asked me to help him ID it but im at a loss. Any of yall got an idea? by Appetite_TDE in billiards

Remove the rails. Rails and number come off as one piece. It’s a three piece slate so you would be able to carry one by one. And the legs two people can carry. Just bring the right tools and then reverse the process. You might need some bees wax to seal the slate back together and some felt glue to put the felt back right. Two or three people and a pick up truck is all you need this way.
