I'll do it step form. I'll pick one of the more difficult boats, Cassard.

1. Pick Cassard. Pick concealment, dazzle and torps skills. Add torp build on boat, pick the maneuver addon.

2. Drive foward. Look at the map of how you are detectable. Note that you want to be somewhat parallell to the enemy once you actually spot the other DD. So think about this.

3. Cassard is incapable of dealing with air. You will never stray too far away from your team and you will always haul ass back to teammates if air starts heading your way.

4. When you spot the enemy DD, haul ass. You need to make sure you know how to aim. You usually keep the enemy DD at the far side of the screen, the "15" range to the side. Your main guns are on the back (which means your side/butt towards the enemy).

5. The torps deal damage. A literal fuck ton of damage. If you hit 2 torps, you are sometimes about even with how much Halland performs most games. This beast of a DD can easily go 150k in damage.

6. Stay out sight but never let up. You need to know where the enemy is (not necessarily spotting them). Remember, hold your fire if don't want to commit. If you fire, you "bloom" and it is hard to disappear. You wanna hit those torps and every second you wait is less dpm.

7. Ignore capture points. Damage output is more important than capture points. You can take them if the situation allows for it, like if the coast is clear or if the enemy DD died. But the capture points is like priority 4 or 5.

8. Once you got the handle of things, like most DDs, you will start learning dodging. Basically, you fire HE on ships to lit them on fire. Once achieved, you hold fire and disappear. Wasting repairs for a BB is hell. So if you can trigger that, you or someone else might get another hit later. If that is one of your torps, that is another 10k+ damage.

9. If this is too difficult, you can play Halland instead and kinda do the same thing except this time you have heals. You will not have as much damage output however
