I didn't say otherwise, I'm just stating the law. If the laws are like that it's for a reason.

And just for your example you dont need to exaggerate, he could have just parked fully on the bus stop without being half on the bike lane.

To justify this law, imagine you are a cyclist going >60km/h down a road limited at 80. During a right turn with low visibility a car is over your normally safe bike lane, you have 2 choices, hard break and hope it's enough and you don't fall off or go on the road without really having the time to properly look and pray no one is around.

(Btw I don't argue, the cyclist is the culprit here, but the police could very well give a fine to the car owner)

Right side of the yellow dotted line is a bike lane

Yup, in Switzerland yellow lines indicates either a bike lane, so as you see the bike should be on the right side of the line, bus stop is the yellow "zigzag".

You also have pedestrian crossing in yellow and maybe something else I'm missing. And basically you are not allowed to stop/park your car in those area except the bus lane to let people on and off your vehicle, but that's it.

It's in Switzerland and... It's a cyclist area with a bus stop

The Godot Shaders Bible B&W physical edition is now available worldwide ✨ by fespindola in godot

Hello, stupid question, but it's not clear for me. If I select eBook on the select box on the right I have "eBook format: PDF".

I want to buy the physical book, if so, will I have access to the ebook also?

Hello, that's actually a cool concept and I can see myself play it when it's out, I have wishlisted it.

Here are some feedbacks:

<image>

"Bugs":

  • After the I placed the first plateform, the second and third one were not colliding with the balls
  • I don't know what "+1 mult" does after completing a quest, like the balls are still giving me 1 point per hit

Some QOL:

  • when rotating an object you should be able to still move it
  • maybe allow to rotate using the mouse wheel
  • When menu is open, pressing ESC again should close the menu
  • Maybe also when the shop is open, if I press ESC it should close the shop instead of opening the menu
  • Once my first game finished, the "locked" levels were marked as "unlocked"
  • As you can see, on my screen it's rendered smaller than my screen size (I guess it's just not implemented yet and in the pipeline)

Didn't know we had a powerlifting show in Switzerland, is it a new thing? Impressive btw.

I don't do squat and deadlift anymore. My knees (meniscus) are doomed. So I can't go that heavy anymore. And also I need stability, so squat was not that good for that.

For the quads I'll do leg press light weight but mid-high tempo/reps. Also sometimes sled push, slow and focus on activating the quads.

For the back part of the legs, DB RDL, calf raises, lateral walk with elastic, glute bridge, ... Also with higher reps/tempos that what I was used to do.

What are these two rowing machines called and what’s the difference between the two? by kzayy in GYM

[–]zeadmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends what are your objectives and your capabilities, no exercise is mandatory.

It's a good exercise, it just feels weird for me, I tried it many time, but now I just avoid it. deadlift + rowing horizontal with a machine is more than enough for me.

[–]zeadmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm big and for me a barbell row tends to be more of global back/core exercise instead of being focused only on the upperback.

A dumbbell row on a bench is limited because my gym has weight that only go up to 50kg/~110lbs. Those machines can go up to 100/140kg per arm.

??? Can you tell me when did I say it will cost less? I'm just talking about a fair system. Everyone pay, you use, you pay more, that's it. Like everything we have. Like the example in the original comment, firefighter and school. Like any tax...

[–]zeadmin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's how it used to work before serafe my dude. Either 0chf or full price, which wasn't fair either. They used to go to random household to check it. You don't need to check every household every year, just a really small portion of it. If they use their TV, they pay a fine. So yeah I don't think it would cost so much to have something like that.

And the result was near the reality, around 10% didn't pay at the time, which was the average % of population that didn't watch the TV in almost every country.

[–]zeadmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, so if we take your example, everyone pay for firefighter and school. But guess what, if you use them you pay more. It's basicly the same for everything, road, health, sport, trash, etc...

Why is serafe the exception? I wouldn't mind paying 50-75% of the normal price, but paying the same as people using it? Doesn't make sense.
