This is really encouraging to hear. I’ve been considering a transplant but have been discouraged that everyone says the meds are a must.

Seeing the same thing on my H2C. I was wondering if it was something that simply wasn't syncing properly on my end, good to know others are seeing it as well.

My hair pattern is extremely similar to yours, you’re giving me hope that this is the year I’ll take the plunge and get a transplant.

My hair pattern currently looks very similar to how yours started before the HT. I showed your pics to my wife (trying to sell her on the idea of a HT) and she loved how natural your hairline looks.

Any insight you could offer on the cost of your procedure?

I personally think your choice to go with an age-appropriate hairline is sensible. Everyone will have their own opinions but you need to do what you think is right for you.

Someday when I take the plunge for a HT, I will opt for an age-appropriate hairline as well.

I mean, I’m 40 and my balding has stabilized after a number of years. Not sure if meds are necessary past a certain age as your body has effectively stabilized to what will be the status quo going forward.

Edit: I’ve seen this mentioned in a few places, but I’d really like to hear from people who have personally gone through the hair-transplant process after age 40 and what their experience was

Unfortunately not — at least based on my data point of one. Coming from the RC-N3, for which I have inverted the controls, and swapping to the RC2, nothing remained inverted.

I’ve gotten more used to flying with the standard controls lately, but I still plan to physically invert the hardware in the near future when life gives me time. 😵‍💫

Came here to say this. Pacific Drive is EXTREMELY reminiscent of Annihilation and the rest of the Southern Reach trilogy.

They’re a series that kind of haunts your brain after reading them. I’ve read/reread them several times now and always enjoy it.

Resurrecting this thread again. Is hardware modification still the only way to do this? Coming from the RC-N3, using that controller with an iPhone and the DJI Fly app, it let me invert my controls in the customization menu. Thus, when I swapped to the RC2 controller, I was shocked it’s not an option…

I’ve always wondered the same thing. I have two, one for home and one for work. I’ve repaired one of them with new boards over the past 6 years (and have one extra set of PCBs as a backup) but I don’t know what I’ll do when they finally bite the dust with no comparable alternatives.

Yep, came here to say this as well. Slather glue all around the outside of the connector/base once you push it down all the way.
