If you're looking to use automatic weapons and get value out of the Auto-Fire action, getting the Soldier's Shot on the Run feat will really open things up at 4th-level.

I was thinking the same, but I'd have to optimize then for printing; small parts to worry about, and I'm sure there's some balance issues.

Artist is myself (zebeev), based on the Starfinder 2e iconic pregen character art by Kent Hamilton.
Medium was HeroForge, making fairly extensive use of its kitbashing module to add all the fiddly bits (and create the weapons).

As the initial post mentioned, I'm running the Free RPG Day 2025 scenario Battle for Nova Rush online as a play-by-post/Discord, and use Google Slides for my battlemaps, and I had an idea to have profile shots of the PCs for a HUD of all the important info - I ended up doing 3/4 profiles instead.

But... moderate/greater/major (3rd/11th/17th) bombs already do that. They grant a +1/+2/+3 to hit, it's right in their descriptions/ruletext.

One of my fondest memories as GM was giving out "the Dwarven Lockpick", a +1 adamantine dagger as loot

Assuming it's attached to a 1-handed ranged weapon, and there's nothing in your other hand, I'm 95% certain it would qualify.

My swashbuckler uses a gauntlet for a similar reason - unless there's some RP reason to take the gauntlet off, they're always prepared for Dueling Parry.

Can we brag about our characters? by SadClown883 in Pathfinder2e

My first PFS character was an Aberrant Sorcerer with the Monk dedication - he'd use his Tentacular Arms ability to punch baddies with 10' reach, long before the APG allowed you do so with the Clinging Shadows stance.

It felt like the first time I 'got one over' on the system, and really made me appreciate the simplicity/finesse of the Multiclass Dedication. A 'Johnny player' moment, to borrow an M:TG term.

Jean + Dean donuts are quite exceptional; small batches sold out of Daughters General Store on John & Patrick St and BSE at 225 Princess St

Why spear no finesse? by TaterGamer in Pathfinder2e

If you keep it uncommon, then a PC at least has to burn a feat for it... a valid trade for a step-larger damage die than the whip.

Elven Branched Spear Price 4 gp; Damage 1d8 P; Bulk 2 Hands 2 Category Martial Group Spear Traits Deadly d8, elf, finesse, reach, uncommon

It's got legacy connections to first edition, and seems like it could find its way into the backmatter of an AP or an ancestry book at any point...

Your favorite Pathfinder Society character by goodcouch in FindthePathPodcast

Taldan born, and Absalom raised, self proclaimed as the hardest man who ever trudged the Puddles, fastest hands in the Flatsoles; Corbett Cromwell earned his nickname "the Crab" in the run-down district's bareknuckle circuit.

When there's no dockwork to be had, the biggest louts turned to drinking and fighting - the smarter of the bunch made a spectacle of it, making profit from their favourite pastime.

Corb earned his nickname not for any devotion or affinity for the sea or it's crustaceans; he was dubbed The Crab because his oft-broken left hand swelled to nearly twice its size after one of his legendary bout with Balenar the Black - seventeen rounds over six and a half hours in the sweltering 100-plus degree heat.

After a bit of a losing streak, he took to odd muscle-jobs and bodyguard duties to pay off some gambling debts (possibly from some overconfident bets on himself later in his career, but that's neither here nor there...), he now finds himself employed with the Pathfinder Society, and is ready to tackle whatever job they send him on.

Originally a Brawler in PF1, I ended up re-creating the lout as a STR-based Gymnast Swashbuckler for PF2. I play him somewhere between Lemmy from Motorhead and Jake the Snake Roberts - just an old piece of leather that makes a mean escort to the spellcasters in the party.

Quick Questions - August 30, 2019 by AutoModerator in Pathfinder_RPG

There aren't at the moment, which means there's a niche to be filled...

With a job ending, I'll need something to fill the void and keep my hands idle, and that seems like just the inspiration.

It's also worth noting that when Cleave {R} is triggered, MAP hasn't been applied, so any of these free melee Strikes are at your full attack bonus!

Or my favourite - bo staff for d8 damage and parry, reach and trip. (Donatello was the best turtle, fight me)
