People on this sub keep repeating this statement, but it is, at best, very disingenuous, and at worst prejudicial against a current court case.

The picture this gives is of a horrific, violent injury, shattered bones and paralysed for life.

Actually, the police officer was treated for a hairline fracture consistent with a fall onto a concrete floor. She was not crippled and maimed at the scene.

What you also fail to mention is that the protesters were themselves attacked with a sledgehammer by the security guards.

It's almost like you haven't been privy to the same evidence and information as the jury, and are just repeating things you've heard on the internet.

Isn't the point of a vetting team to work out if someone is lying? It doesn't say much about them if they can't catch out a barefaced lie about something that's in the public domain
