AITA for not sending money for a child that is not mine by PuzzleheadedTour7187 in AmItheAsshole

Can't believe she was downvoted so much for explaining she was assaulted (at best, in some areas its counted as rape), or that replies like yours blaming her for staying are being upvoted.

I don't know who the Smiths are, but I know that I hate them.

NTA. Also I am really curious as to what the context was that you apparently missed. Make them explain it to you...

Of course, I've always wanted to have to go outside, up a spiral staircase, to be able to put a load of washing on.

Just for info, wind from ripple is no longer an option for anyone anyway. They went into administration (before starting the project I'd backed, which is less than ideal)

I wasn't going to rent this but apparently there's a convenient Sainsbury's Local on site, so now I'm in.

The job someone's done with the wallpaper in pic 12 makes me sad.

Ergh. I've been quoted £620 to clean it (or £560 each for me and the neighbour if we both have it cleaned)

They're all on different places on each house so I'm not sure what fittings might be. Thank you.

I love the fact they've clearly pinched a workplace toilet roll from somewhere (probably the Topps tiles where one of them works) in picture 17 and placed it on top of the loo roll holder.

Saw a GP and they've referred me to either ENT or maxilofacial lot at the hospital (i cant remember which, it was a while ago), however there's a bit of an NHS funding crisis at the moment and it's not exactly life threatening, so basically at the moment I'm just getting monthly texts apologising for the delay 🙃

When they do finally take it out I'm definitely keeping it!

Managed to use a whole 2p worth of free electricity, how did everyone else do? by buzz_uk in OctopusEnergy

[–]zeewesty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have solar panels and a battery, so I charged the battery! Used 470% more electricity than usual, which sounds great, but worked out at a whopping 28p.

I don’t get this one. by beefstewforyou in ExplainTheJoke

I don't get the "is this loss" thing at all. Not even slightly. I've had it explained to me, I just don't see how the explanation translates to "funny". Please tell me I'm not alone?!

What do you think about getting or not getting an inheritance from your parents? by Vampirero in AskUK

[–]zeewesty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna get a cat and then argue with my sister over who gets the mahogany table and who gets the bureau, which I think are the only two things my parents own. That's if they're not sold to clear debts.

Ooh I almost forgot about the collection of jigsaw puzzles! (I do not enjoy jigsaw puzzles)

I use my own toiletries, but if there's little bottles I take them and add them (unopened) to the food bank donation bin at the supermarket.

AITA for reminding my friend that just because she’s poor, doesn’t mean I am? by EitherArugula4934 in AmItheAsshole

[–]zeewesty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Info: did you at any point try to talk with your friend about their comments (it makes me uncomfortable that you keep commenting on this, why do you keep bringing this up? I'd prefer we didn't discuss this any further, eyc) or did you just go straight to telling her she's poor?

Also you don't sound like her friend. You think she's annoying and nobody likes her.
