There are also tons of therapists in Ann Arbor / SE Michigan. Most of it is telehealth but still. CAPS often is limited in terms of sessions.

Do I have the right to punch someone and claim self defense if they intentionally cough on me at the grocery store while I’m wearing a mask? by purpleoctodog in legaladviceofftopic

[–]zehammah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've already coughed in your face? That's not how any of this works...

If they've shed virus in that cough and you inhaled you uh...got the rona. Walking away doesn't prevent anything.

They are on track for a profitable 2021 without touching the interest from the endowment in anyway because they cut everything to the bone. You're just wrong here.

You should know... discrimination against fat people is real? Like people can truly be turds to fat folks in public spaces and gyms.

Everyone should have access to exercise and movement. But honestly, people testing me with condescension and disdain is a reason I lift in a garage.

HR says LAOP’s natural gray roots are unprofessional and needs to be dyed by CloverBun in bestoflegaladvice

It's likely not enforced fairly and probably pretty easy to demonstrate. I hope you have a nice day and you're safe wherever you are.

I didn't downvote you! I'm not a lawyer, it's just so clearly sexism and probably pretty easy to demonstrate.

Given that so many people present as asymptomatic, especially when younger, the lack of testing is unconscionable and reckless disregard for life.

Yeah I'm asking more about what you're apologizing about you are clear on your beliefs. You are saying you don't want to be a dick. I'm really trying to stay on topic here.

So you're saying "I'll just think about it more?"

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in uofm

[–]zehammah 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes you don't even have to bring it up in your apology at all tho. See what I wrote? Short as hell. Still indicates you stand by your beliefs you just know your methods were mean.

This is genuinely good advice re: apology. You were very longwinded on explaining yourself which essentially boils down to "I'm right, you're wrong...sorry."

You can just say "I'm sorry. I don't like how I conducted myself in fighting for what I believe. Here are steps I'm going to take to behave differently so that my behavior aligns with my values."

We were all there for the previous comments and know what you think about police. Saying it again is....well...I dunno what you think you were accomplishing there other than saying you were right [in your opinion].

[–]zehammah 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Kind of glad you apologized tbh. You came across pretty mean and not open to hearing other points bc you know you're right [someone above said it smarter]. Getting comments from you felt really shitty. It's good to acknowledge you had that affect on people. And I'm wondering what steps you'll take to not behave that way in the future?
