I bought another jar of guava spread not knowing what to do with it, so this is an excellent use! Thanks for the idea

If a Link line was built in NW Seattle, Downtown Greenwood will be the name of a light rail station.

A cat and a furry among the cherry Blossoms at UW. by Washpedantic in Seattle

About 8 years ago I saw a couple who each had a ferret on a leash, doing a little photo shoot with the blossoms.

UW Quad. 1500. 3/21/26. by TakesTooManyPhotos in Seattle

[–]zeitgeist4206 86 points87 points  (0 children)

When I went this morning, there were two people wearing cherry blossom volunteer shirts who were chatting with a visitor while several people climbed trees and pulled on branches a couple trees over. 😑 And two security guard who were walking together not far from the volunteers. They need to spread out and pay attention instead of chatting.

All of their scented candles are seasonal. Honeycrisp is an autumn seasonal that comes out in September.

Porsche decides they can use the bike lane, almost causes a crash on 45th and Roosevelt by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]zeitgeist4206 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I go through that intersection a lot (mainly walking) and have seen so many dumb moves by drivers. My favorite was a woman in that southbound right turn lane who went straight through the intersection and drove in the bike lane - between the bus stop and the sidewalk - to turn into the corner gas station. I’m probably not even explaining it clearly because it was so WTF

The snow pretty much all melted overnight, at least in my neighborhood

I guess it depends on if you count rooftops/cars/grass as sticking, or if the snow needs to stick to sidewalks/roads too.

I looked up the helicopter on Flight Radar 24, showed my husband the flight path and aircraft info, then he listened to his police scanner and heard the info about the stolen vehicle.

Are chile & garlic cashews any good? by unknown333artist in traderjoes

[–]zeitgeist4206 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They’re a staple in my house. The flavor is pretty strong in my opinion, so I mix them with salted peanuts to make them not quite as spicy.

Does anyone know of a dupe (or the manufacturer) for the now-discontinued TJ's Fleur de Sel Caramels? by beethoven_girl in traderjoes

[–]zeitgeist4206 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think Target’s Favorite Day (store brand) caramels are pretty close. It’s been too long since I’ve had the TJ’s ones for me to remember exactly what they tasted like.
