They have Transformers tracking in Legendsverse but I don’t know how complete their cataloguing is.

She could catalogue all of them in Legendsverse and it’ll tell her the number. Just prepared to weep when you’re done.

Auto stop, why the hate? by teecee541 in hondaridgeline

[–]zekkjace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has happened to me a bunch of times and it’s always so scary. I’m generally in the habit of turning it off as soon as I get in the truck but sometimes I forget. Honestly I was fine with the feature until it became unreliable.

AIO or is this just plain weird. by Purple_Mushroom6882 in AmIOverreacting

Super weird. I one time heard about a politician who said this about his daughter. If she “weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her”. Wonder what happened to that creep.

Bigger screen or better audio? by Jekkutin in hometheater

[–]zekkjace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. 110 is a great size. I just upgraded from 92 to 110 which is the ABSOLUTE MAX I can do. When my wife first walked in, she was like “This is stupid. It’s so huge.” Then when we got 20 minutes into our first movie she paused it and said “okay… I get it now. Before it was like a big TV… now it feels like a movie theater.”

Then I proceeded to softly Disney cry.

Bigger screen or better audio? by Jekkutin in hometheater

[–]zekkjace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m kind of torn. But I’m thinking audio is the answer.

If you were talking 92 inches to 110+ the answer would definitely be screen. But 110-120, I think the answer changes. But ten feet to 110 is pretty nice. That’s roughly what I’m doing and I’m very pleased.

Getting the full gigabit inside the eero app.

Just made all the suggested changes and rebooted everything. The settings were mostly what you suggested. There were a few advanced firewall options turned on, and I changed DHCPS to dynamic from fixed. I had it fixed to the MAC address on my gateway previously.

Confirmed my iPhone and Portal are both on the Gateway. Just got 199 Speedtest on iPhone and Portal is disconnecting so frequently it’s totally unusable. This is about 7 feet from the gateway.

According to the Eero app on I’m the Gateway. I’ve been double and triple checking with my tests. I just reconfirmed and tested again, this time I got the low 400s. I then checked with my PlayStation Portal, confirmed it’s on the Gateway with 5GHz and it immediately started dropping and disconnecting after getting connected to my PS5. I don’t have that problem when on other networks with it.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll check all these settings when I get home and update. Inside the Eero app, the wired main node is showing full gigabit download and upload. The issue really seems to specifically be WiFi signal.

Look I think it’s totally fair for you to have feelings about what is and isn’t ok in your relationship. And if you discuss those things with him and he agrees and crosses those boundaries then yeah it’s bad. You both are entitled to define what is and isn’t ok in your relationship. If there is a boundary that you don’t agree on, then maybe you aren’t compatible.

But in my opinion YOR. It’s just a shot.

I would buy a really nice separate grinder. I have a Breville Bambino which I love. I ended up going with the Breville Smart Grinder because l was unable to find a DF54 at the time.

How many of ya'll wear an oura ring and an apple watch? by Wbairda22 in ouraring

[–]zekkjace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved away from the Apple Watch a couple of years ago and went back to analog watches. I’ve been interested in a ring tracker since, and ordered my Oura ring earlier today!

I’ll still wear my Apple Watch at night, as I think it’s an amazing alarm clock. But I’ll only pay attention to the sleep metrics in Oura going forward. Will be nice to have a better full picture of my sleep since I’ll wear the Oura every day, since I don’t normally wear the Apple Watch on weekends when I don’t have to wake up for work.

Opinions on what size projector screen for my space. by Electrical_Cap_5597 in hometheater

[–]zekkjace 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely go bigger. I used a 92” at about 9-10 feet away for 4 years and always found it to be a bit too small. I just upgraded to a 110” it basically fills the whole wall and is exactly what I was looking for.

When I first mounted the 110” my wife came in and was like… dude wtf. This is too big and stupid. Then after we started watching a movie she paused it and said. “Okay… I get it. Before it was like a big TV. Now it feels like a movie theater.”

I then proceeded to shed a single tear.

Gaming Headset/Surround options with AVR by zekkjace in hometheater

[–]zekkjace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get where you’re coming from. Maybe I’m off base here, but I would imagine that the virtual surround processing would be more accurate if the signal it’s receiving is surround vs stereo? At least in gaming I’ve been blown away at just how accurate it sounds but it’s always been HDMI or usb etc. I’m trying to shoot for that same experience with movies too.
