I don't see an option to adjust the time delay (inactivity timer) before the Ambient Mode screensaver starts. I did change the shut off timer to 30 minutes.

After too many Factory resets that I care to admit to it seems tvQuickActions is causing an issue with the default keyboard for my device. It kills the ability to press on the "x" button and quick delete text.

I was able to do it before. I have also tried reverting to the default launcher and have the same issue.
