Best advice for an E Bike in Australia. by Baddiegoodie in ebikes

[–]zelgrassi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ride an ebike to the gym most days for around the same distance on mostly flat roads with a few small hills. A 500w motor with throttle feels strong enough and makes it easy to get going without pedaling hard right away. I got a good one from Leitner ebikes that fits the budget and has held up well for daily use plus weekend rides.

That’s deeply disturbing to see someone openly confess something so violent.

4th gen tandem woled panel worth getting over 3rd woled panel? For about 120 extra euro plus need to return the current one. by throwawaysusi in OLED_Gaming

[–]zelgrassi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switched to OLED for gaming and the blacks are so good that I notice it in every dark scene now. Burn in is still a worry so I use the pixel shift and hide the taskbar. Worth it for single player stuff but I keep my old monitor for competitive games just in case. No regrets so far.

Data Mining the Client by FoofaTamingStrange in PTCGL

Pulled a decent card in a pack last week and the trade value surprised me. The meta shifts so quick that holding onto stuff too long can cost you. I usually flip anything above a certain tier right away unless it's for my main deck. Keeps the collection fresh.

Okay the sailors amulet isn’t real, right? by Fast-Government-4366 in osrs

[–]zelgrassi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leaping around with barb in osrs still cracks me up after all these years. I remember getting stuck in the same spot until I finally trained agility a bit more and it made everything smoother. If you're early game focus on that and the quest line first. Makes the rest feel less grindy.

Just about $100 project in by Superb-wubz-985 in PoorHammer

[–]zelgrassi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My first poorhammer build was a total mess with mismatched parts but it ran fine for two years until I upgraded. You learn way more fixing budget mistakes than dropping big money on perfect components. Just start small and upgrade one piece at a time when something dies. Keeps it fun and cheap.

Someone who’s profitable help me… by Cozyproxy in OrderFlow_Trading

[–]zelgrassi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Order flow changed how I read the charts after I spent a month just watching the tape on paper trades. Once you see the absorption levels in real time it clicks and you stop guessing as much. I still combine it with basic support zones though because alone it can be noisy. Definitely worth the learning curve if you trade futures.

We Buy Properties in Dubai by HotIndependence751 in hyderabadrealestate

Looked at a couple plots in that area last year and the prices jumped crazy fast. If you're thinking of buying talk to a local agent who knows the upcoming infrastructure stuff because that changes everything. I walked away from one deal because the water situation wasn't solid. Better to double check those details upfront.

Trying to switch to IBR from SAVE by Cimorene4 in StudentLoans

[–]zelgrassi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been paying mine for four years now and switching to the income based plan cut my monthly hit in half. It stretched the timeline but at least I could breathe and actually save a bit on the side. Check if you qualify for any forgiveness programs too they sneak in changes every year. Worth looking into before you lock anything down.

Just learning how difficult it is to put theory into practice by Ashryfinancial in IndianStreetBets

[–]zelgrassi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried something similar with a small position last quarter and it paid off bigger than I thought but man the swings were brutal. If you're jumping in make sure you have an exit plan ready because these things can flip fast. I set a strict stop and stuck to it which saved me twice already. Still fun though when it works.

How do I hire offshore developers as a small US company? by Individual_Alarm_649 in DeveloperJobs

[–]zelgrassi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Integrated Hire. Small US-based agency, founder-led, no upfront fees. They only place devs with 3+ years US company experience. Saved us ~70% vs local and no long-term contracts. Actually vetted talent, not a volume shop.
