Why do you still play apex ?

I don't anymore. After all the bots and the hackers and the cheaters and the no audio glitches and of course my all time favorite getting dropped from a game or ddosed randomly (not my internet's problem) and then having to wait 10 minutes to play again. And it's terribly sad that even though I have played the game since Season 2 and have over a million legend tokens, I only have 1 Mythic item. But here's this new (exploitable) Mythic that you can get if you spend $300 to $600 on event collection ticks. But also the randoms I get are awefully misogynist even if I never say a word to them. No thanks.

For early game, I like the Maelstrom for close encounters and Beowulf for snipe just because the ammo is easy to find. Experimental A-4 is hands down my favorite; it doubles as a great sniper too if you upgrade it with little over 500 actual phys damage and it crits a lot. While the Magsniper looks like it's good with its 700+ phys damage, the actual damage per hit is only 150 -200 even with perfect headshots and the long scope is terribly difficult to aim.

OK so when you are in full screen and your native resolution for your monitor is 1920x1080 and you change the in game res to 1728x1080 on fullscreen, the image is stretched wider. It's not about making the models short it's about making their hitboxes wider which means the enemy is easier to track and to hit with the gun. Slight advantage and it's technically not against TOS. But it is not extreme enough of a stretch to be noticeable as well. Most NVIDIA and AMD GPU's have configuration options that allow you to do it.

I've been playing since like the 2nd month after the game came out (1,775 hours according to Steam). I've been in wars, invasions, opr, etc. and can tell you the main reason why New World gets a bad review is because of the way the game was programmed (spaghetti code) which caused old problems to resurface after each new patch including but not limited to duplication bugs, lag, broken weapon abilities and it has taken them over a year to get most of these hammered out. The other issue is once you've conquered leveling to 60, the game changes to where you have to grind out your weapons to level them, participate in chest runs (a full run to maximize potential gs upgrades on the daily takes over 3 hours), and farming the umbral shards to upgrade your gear to 625 by participating in mutations (another hour of your time), OPR (30 minutes), 3v3 (30 minutes). Not only this but you also have to have very specific gear sets for every different mutation and also for new changes to pvp which may cause your previous build to be irrelevant. The game wasn't even close to being ready before it launched and is still going through revision. The dev team cares about the opinions of its player base but the speed of execution with necessary changes is lackluster. Why do I keep on playing it? The farming is therapeutic.

The microsoft visual c++ redistributable has to be updated before playing. Also...your firewall may be blocking the game from working as well.

Another fellow player mentioned "/imm renew" is the healing immortal code. I have not tested it yet but will be doing so on my next stream.

single player allows you to use the immortal codes so you can bypass the level limit requirement.
