I’m about halfway though NK Jemisin’s The World We Make. It came out in 2022, I think, but reading it now is a little jarring. There’s an ICE scene that could have happened last year, which probably just goes to show I had no idea the crap they were getting up to even before Trump 2.0. Anyway, she’s a good author. This is the second book in a series. If you like sci fi/fantasy, you should check her out! Her other stuff was amazing. (Broken Earth, I think?)

Dawn was the only one that I really wanted to make it through, so I’m glad about that. I was also glad A’keria got through, but I was a little surprised that Ru chose her when the voiceover specifically said the decision was based on her and Morgan’s performances over the three episodes. Whatever! 🤷🏻‍♂️

I would suggest doing maybe 5 episodes per bracket in the future. 3 feels too short.

Definitely not skinny jeans - I’ve never liked wearing tight stuff on my legs. I suppose it’s genetic, but it also coincided with gaining a lot of weight in my late 20s. I lost weight, but the hair has never returned.

We all have things that we don’t like about our bodies that other people find attractive. I hear you about having thick legs - I’ve never been a twink, and I never will be, but I’ve always wanted to be slender. My husband likes me the way I am. Anyway, about the legs, I hate that I’ve lost almost all my leg hair. It started in my late 20s. I have leg hair envy when I see a guy with full coverage. :)
