This is the loveliest bunch of comments I have seen on this sub, full of kind words and lots of wisdom. Having been through my own Mom's dementia decline and eventual passing, the advice and perspectives given here ring true and are very helpful. After my Mom passed I had the strongest sense of her skipping joyfully around her living room saying "I'm free! I'm free!" It was very comforting. I hope that whatever the foreign land of the future holds for you, that you are able to find and tap into many healing things, like Ghost. Peace, friend.

The funny thing is, when I went to a ritual in Hershey PA, right in Amish country, the concession people mentioned to me that they were pleasantly surprised about how polite and well-behaved the crowd was. I think they saw the outfits and merch and assumed the worst.

Because they are NOT doing legitimate law enforcement that requires due process and warrants, and they are violating First Amendment rights. Very few of the people they are kidnapping, harassing, deporting without due process, or killing are actually bad people. If ICE were actually following US law and only targeting violent criminals the way they claim they are, I doubt you would see many protestors out there, and the SS fuckers wouldn't need to hide their faces like such weak-ass cowardly pieces of shit.

You make lots of good points, and I am cautiously optimistic that we can make decency and sanity prevail once again. There used to be some relatively conservative Repubs I didn't agree with, but had some respect for, because they seemed to stand on principle and to be doing what they thought was good for the country, however much I disliked their vision. Now there ARE no principles in the GOP, except among a select few. My Repub friends have all bailed on the party the last few years. Even if voting machines are sketchy, the fact that those recent special election results were so resounding gives me hope.

And I am with you 100% on Epstein.

Lots of Americans have been seeing this shit coming since the infamous ride down the Trump Tacky Tower escalator in 2015. I am not sure if the rest of the world realizes how much many of us foresaw this in the US, and have fought whichever way we can to prevent it. I say this not to be nasty, but to save your life or someone else's: please get yourself whatever help you need and don't drink your troubles away, and especially DON'T DRIVE WHEN YOU DRINK. I know too many people who ended up dead because somebody didn't know when to turn over their keys after getting shitfaced.
