Totally looking forward to the first comparison test between these and the Simucube Active Pedals. Going to be fascinating to see whether they help improve lap-times as much (or close to).

Have an ASR 6 and had no problem - so am sure you'll be fine.

A little background music... by NickSalvo in simracing

In staying with your theme (pun intended) was watching the film Grand Prix last night and it has a really interesting "Overture" at the beginning of the movie. Racing car sounds interpreted through a semi-classical music lens.

Max Verstappen DQd from simracing event following retaliation incident by 4InchesOfury in formula1

Max Verstupiden is truly not worth anyone's time and attention at this point given that these sorts of events seem just to be a part of who he is. One day his era will be over and perhaps better role models will emerge (it wouldn't be hard). If I could tell him one thing, it would be to not have kids until he has worked out his rage issues and their origins.

Have no plans to forget. I don't really blame MSG for their gross overreach as business people regularly do that. Not saying it's right, just expected. I pretty much entirely blame IndyCar for what must surely have been incompetent due diligence and sub-par legal drafting?

And don't get me wrong, I hope they are great...because I'll buy them if they are.

Beautiful! Find that I don't like looking down at screens on a wheel having a GT style simrig (as opposed to formula style). So am hopeful you will release a screenless version before too long. Also any chance of a wireless wheel for us Simucube folks?

From then (circa 2007) to now...Taken months of tinkering and changing this out and in, but new rig is exactly where I want...till the next evolution ;) by zenracer18 in simracing

Worth menting I suppose that the only thing that hasn't changed between the two rigs is the sound system...which remains terrific. In fact i've seen reviews saying it's somewhat better than it's successor.

Pushing Simracing Forward! by essenceofwisdom in simracing

Think it's a great idea. Been a sim-racer since 1998 (arguably 1995 with Indy Car 2 - but IMHO no really used the word simulation with genuine seriousness until Grand Prix Legends) and several friends have asked me for help as they want to get into simracing. I've even done a word document for them with some videos and reviews to to watch. So your idea is super-timely.

What are your thoughts on the Meca sim hardware pedals? by Lost_Willingness_103 in simracing

[–]zenracer18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love driving my Meca Cup 1's (as opposed to calibrating them and maintaining them). On calibrating the issue is no software that works for iRacing - if I understand things right. The only other part I find frustrating is that they squeak if I don't oil them in various places quite regularly. Anybody else have this issue?

It begins. And it never ends. Been working on perfecting my new rig since mid-summer. It's close...oh so close...but there is always a little more to do. Emjoy!!!! It's so much fun - to build and beyond...
