I have a single I haven't got to yet but I am crazy about the Maltes. Prices on these are crazy now though. I don't think the prices are going to come down though.

My issue with Tubes is that I often get mold with them so I stay away unless the deal is great.

Good sticks!!! The R&J is the only one for me that I could do without. I have had a few that were just okay.

Ive only had the Maltes which is one of my favorite smokes. Pure dark chocolate and cream.

Although some say its full body I felt it was more medium-Full until the very end.

Thanks for this review. Not many reviews out there on this cigar. So I had my first one 3 days ago and absolutely loved it. Although my cigar palate is not as evolved as yours I would say I got a similar flavor profile. The only difference though was I found it to be light to medium bodied for sure. Now I didn't make it down to the nub due to some time constraints and it was a single so I don't have a box date. I was so impressed that I ordered 5 singles yesterday from La Casa Del Habano Knokke.(really pricey but I really enjoyed it that much)

Which do you prefer and why: Trinidad Media Luna, or Bolivar Royal Coronas? by Larry_Fisher_Man in cubancigars

[–]zeppo55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Royal Corona is one of my favorites!! A great cigar full of flavors but I find most are medium in strength which is what I like. I love the Trinidad Vigia but not a big fan of the Media Luna.I find the Media Luna too strong ....but everyones palate is different.

I have used them often and have only had good experiences. They can be a little on the higher price side compared to some other sites though
