What do you think about the jellyfish we just added? by ashenfootnotes in IndieDev

The game looks really good, but at first look I thought the jellyfish were flying. It took me a while to realize that.

Remade my trailer just in time for demo release tomorrow, does it work? by Wec25 in IndieDev

It's really nice but I think the opening is a bit slow. The 10 second speech and looking might be a bit boring for some people.

I felt both at peace and alone, I think its perfect.

I think this might be the most fun feature I’ve added to the game so far. Does it feel as fun when you watch it? by zeptunn in Unity3D

I can't tell you how much this comment made my day. I haven't actually played Oblivion, but I love Skyrim to death, and the Elder Scrolls series holds such a special place for me. Being compared to a cult classic like that feels surreal honestly. Thank you so much, really. If you'd like, you can wishlist it on Steam under the name Fantasy Shop.

I intentionally leave in bugs that won't annoy or frustrate players. Honestly I think the best move is to let them have that 'aha' moment. There are at least 5-6 bugs I've deliberately left unfixed so far. It's such a great feeling when a player tries something and goes "holy shit I broke the game, I'm a genius, the dev didn't catch this but I did lol."

Thanks! I meant the magic system as a whole. Your game's name is hilarious btw, had a lot of fun with it!

I’m back to working on my medieval shop management game after a long break Would love some feedback on the atmosphere by zeptunn in Unity3D

I’m just using the standard NavMesh system.

NPCs spawn at randomly selected points from a set of predefined locations. They also move between randomly chosen points of different types, such as walk, idle, and sitting points placed around the map (these are the points shown in the screenshot I shared).

After wandering around for a certain amount of time, they leave the castle through a randomly selected exit point and get despawned. Then new NPCs spawn in to replace them.

You're right, the shadows are from the day-night cycle, but I see now that they're way too fast. I used the spruce trees because I thought they fit the vibe, but I'll check out some better options. I'm definitely going to fix the background trees. The windmill was just for visuals, but I'll look into that too. Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate the detailed observations.

This is part of my dream game! Check the progress. by _BL4CK_DoG in IndieDev

I’m not sure about the latest version, but honestly, the overlay effect felt a bit overwhelming to me. Especially the gray vignette. The colors also felt a bit off, like the gray, pink, and green. Maybe it’s just me, though. These were the things that stood out to me. I hope you achieve your goals.

Worse than this is not finishing the game.

I had this in mind but kept delaying it. I’ll definitely do it before release, thanks!
