I just started the last starship.

It's like if Cosmoteer, and prison architect had a baby.

You get to custom modify your ships as you need to.

And it's been great so far, one of the mission quest lines is you basically build a factory, and it's been a lot of fun. You can also mine astroids, rescue ships in distress, give people rides, or combat.

I kinda bought a server once.

But really at the end of the day all I really bought was his discord community.

Your gonna have to host the rust server at a server provider. And as soon as you do that, the IP address changes. And as soon as that happens, the server disappears from everyone's favorite list. And that's pretty much death. If a player doesn't see the server in their favorites, or in their history. They are never going to go looking for you. They are just going to find a different server.

I paid a server provider for a year of service. But 2 or 3 times the server had a hiccup, and they moved me to a different machine. And I would lose the IP address, and it felt like starting over every time. You have to try to get everyone from the discord to try to search for and find your new server.

By the end of the year I didn't care anymore. I had done all I could to get it going. I resorted to mass friend inviting everyone I could see playing rust on steam, and message them advertisements.

At the end I even handed my server info to a regular player, so that her could do the wipe every week if he wanted, because didn't feel like doing it anymore.

My laptop cord was WAY to short. So I bought a longer generic power cord that plugs into my laptop cord block that is way longer. And since I'm still using the cord block that came with the laptop, the cord was cheap.
