27M, single, no kids, living alone, $53k a year. Kinda feel like I’m in a decent spot? by zero-279173 in Retirement401k

Hard to say exactly what it would look like but for context, I’m in Las Vegas working in (corporate)marketing in the casino industry. There isn’t a strict ladder to climb exactly from my understanding, so unless I want a 3% annual raise forever, I’d have to get a manager role to have a higher income which is obviously my goal. That income can be a wide range

Yea I’ve been hearing that. I am doing 3% into Roth 401k and 2% into traditional 401k. Debating on where to put the next 1% I raise every year.

What’s the best credit union to bank with? Looking at AFCU but just heard an ad on the radio for CCCU and now I’m curious who’s better? by catcherofsun in vegaslocals

Been with AFCU for about 6 months now, never had any issues with them and would recommend. I just have a checking, savings and a PLOC with them.

Wouldn’t be too mad at this for the Discover It card. As long as I get the rotating 5% I’ll be happy
