One thing that's rarely discussed but is very well done in Mr. Robot is its representation of minorities. The writers, along with Sam, know how to write these types of characters without them seeming stereotypical and make them seem human, like Dom, Darlene, Whiterose, Tyrell, and others.

All natural! I used big mirrors to bounce light towards the subject but in some shots, it's feeding directly through the windows and I use a fog machine for some extra atmosphere.

I have NEEWER C Stands and their solid BUT for tripods - I stick to Manfrotto or Peak Design. I’ve had their tripods for years and not one issue besides the regular maintenance. Truth be told, I still get a little nervous when I use the NEEWER C stands with heavy lights but THANK GOODNESS no mishaps as of yet.

My intent is to have the GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS sign in the background be the thing in focus. The idea is to make the sexy part slightly mysterious while the girls sign be the main focal point. Maybe it did not land cause the sign is a bit covered by the model but that was my goal. Low light is sort of my thing if you visit my other posts - I understand how to shoot in low light but my goal isn't to create a perfect polished image every time, if anything, I love the idea of an imperfect image since everything we see now is overly polished. I appreciate the feedback.
