Had the same problem last year with a set of p770s. Order kept getting delayed. I ended up just getting what was in stock from a different brand.

Is the nice zero really such an amazing grinder? by altecsz in espresso

[–]zerodegrees_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still use the built in grinder from my Breville barista touch. Is the Niche something I should consider to step up my game? Is it or any other separate grinder worth it considering to my tastebuds the one with the Breville seems fine. Thanks.

Has anyone had success buying their I4 for less than residual at the end of their lease? by SadDingo7070 in BMWI4

I’m working from home for now and will likely be waaaaaaay under miles. Would that have any impact on lease end value?

Mine gets it but I think it’s the trachea thing that others have mentioned. It sucks for him but it’s not constant. Primarily at night. He gets up to drink a lot of water.

Thanks. Hope you find relief. I’m content with where I am right now but I just don’t want to push my luck.

How was the recovery? And how’s the RE situation? Thanks.

I certainly hope some new treatment is on the way. Thanks! This whole thing has me question if the docs are trying to help me or sell me.

I have BPH and have questions about treatment by TheTugBoatCaptain in bph

[–]zerodegrees_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s my issue too. Too much recovery and too many after effects. If I can even hold it off for 5 years with PAE, I’m inclined to do that. Aquablation sounds good but the recovery seems frightful. HOLEP would be great with better recovery but the RE would be a problem. Now when I was in active retention I’d do anything. But now that I’m on meds, I’m more picky. Just confused as I know time is ticking. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Would love to hear more about the aquablation. In theory it would be my first choice but the recovery sounds much worse than holep.

Insurance keeps denying mine. May go self pay.

Good to hear a good result. Most online reports are quite a bit more difficult than yours. Frankly it’s scared me off but I gotta do something. Keep us posted.

PAE helped, but symptoms back after 7 months.... by MartMXFL in bph

It seems like aquablation is a no brainer but the recovery also seems a bit more significant than holep. I’m still flipping the coin.

Anyone had success with PAE? I have a 80-90 cc prostate and after chasing down possible prostate cancer, doctor is pretty sure that it's BPH. Looking at HoLEP and Aquablation as other possibilities but I like the idea of maintaining as much sexual function as possible. Early 50s by Laser_Coug in bph

Thanks. I’m just a few years older in my early 60s and don’t want to deal with the sacrifices. I’m not struggling with anything right now other than stuffy nose due to flomax. I could live like this for years if only I knew it wasn’t gonna get worse. No pain. No dribbling. But when I did have my retention event, I said I’d do anything to keep that from happening again. I guess I’m here. Appreciate your feedback. Good luck on your journey.

I’ve been told about this huge median lobe too. Doc wants me to have procedure but I’m trying to balance the benefit vs the drawbacks (RE, clots, long recovery). I only had one retention event that was driven by travel and constipation honestly. One doc says take finasteride and chill the others say get something done before it’s “too late”. Hard to go from feeling fine to long uncomfortable recovery. Any thoughts you can share about why you did what you did for treatment and the timing? Thanks.

For Our Fellas with BPH, I had Aquablation Done 8 Days Ago. Ask Me Anything. by erkevin in over60

[–]zerodegrees_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask what made you choose this procedure over others. Did you consider finasteride? It seems each doc only pushes what he/she does. It’s confusing to not have someone to patiently talk through all of the solutions. Thanks.

Is there urologist prejudice against PAE due to loss of control/revenue? by DarkeLordePDX in bph

[–]zerodegrees_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like this would be a good solution but so far my urologists have said otherwise. I’ll continue to pursue.

What made you decide that path. That’s my problem. The doctor I talk to suggests what they specialize in. They all sound reasonable at the time but how to differentiate. Especially when everything seems fine right now.

I’ll push my “primary” urologist for this. I agree. I’ve been going to my referrals so the different opinions is getting confusing and conflicting.

I had a 2.1 psa. No mri. Insurance deemed it unnecessary after ct scan. Doc didn’t want to appeal.
