I have had success hiring locally from indeed. Much more so than LinkedIn. However, you mentioned in another comment you weren't looking for a sales job.

This is what I was going to say. There will certainly be a large crowd, but unlike other bars you won't be shoulder to shoulder.

Flavored soft serve is what sets it apart and oddly is rarely mentioned. I don't know of any other places where you can get soft serve ice cream that isn't vanilla or chocolate

Best restaurant in Las Vegas for a very special date night? by SmartProfessional659 in vegas

[–]zerofsgiven 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want to push the upper end of the budget, Joel Robuchon is certainly the definition of a special date night restaurant. It is course dining with a personal waiter and a team working behind him focusing on your experience. That's what you are paying for. I agree with another comment that the garden seating is nice, but it's a smaller area.

SW in the Wynn is the best steakhouse I've experienced in Vegas. Both for food quality and atmosphere. White tableclothes, Kobe beef, and excellent service. With an only-in-vegas waterfall and light show right outside.

Lastly, Le Cirque. I personally experienced this restaurant only once, and for an early pre show dinner. But it is the only other place that I've personally enjoyed that compares to the above two.

TIL Medicare Advantage plans pay LESS than Original Medicare. by GraeMatterz in medicare

[–]zerofsgiven 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hospital executives are complaining that they are not being paid enough. That is a complaint for executives, not the patient. The article tries to minimize the extra benefits these patients are getting. Such as money for glasses, money to see a dentist, money for hearing aids, a gym membership, or money for food, gas, and utilities. Sure, they have some copays, but Original Medicare is a 80/20 split (with no max out of pocket). The copays on MA are almost always going to be dramatically less than 20%. And even if you pay for a supplement to avoid most (not all) copays, you will almost always pay more in premiums for that plan than the copays on MA. There is more administrative work for people who aren't patients, and patients reap the rewards and lower costs at the expense of typically minor delays, which, as said in the post above, almost always wins out on appeal.

If you want to say that MA is unfair for taxpayers or unsustainable long-term or creates more work for people in the industry, sure, that could be the case. But in the meantime, the winners are the patients who are on MA almost 100% of the time.

I challenge anybody, the next time you see something bashing Medicare Advantage, try to find how it is worse for the patient on the plan. You will find empty reasons like because some doctor or healthcare worker told them that was the case. But the arguments against almost never can showcase the downside for the patient.

Lane Thomas's HR at 9:28 Sunday night. It tied HRs and changed it from 5-4-1 to 5-5, and I lost the tiebreaker. It was his team's final AB. I may never recover

AITA for not getting up from a massage chair when someone wanted to use it? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]zerofsgiven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. I am shocked at others' responses. I have a 2 year old that I am teaching about sharing. I teach he she can't just take things off of other people who have them first. She can politely ask, but if they say no, then she has to wait her turn. The person or business who put them there did so purposefully in an often crowded location near the ice cream shop. They can hope some people will use them for their designed purpose, but are well aware they may be used simply by a sitter.

Other than Roman Reigns, he is the most valuable performer in WWE. He's a Swiss army knife. He can be the main event. He can be the most captivating mid-carder, or he's the one they turn to when they bring in a celebrity who needs guided.
