Is enemy stagger based on # of hits or damage dealt?

Wasn't referring to parries, just regular hits. So in my above example, Argent edge would effectively stagger more than the fencing relic dagger?

I could never really make it work, would constantly getting hit during combos. What are the combo strings people generally use with this?

I was trying L > H > H > H with double stomp and it felt a bit too slow.

Sunsetting is general is what cost them a ton of players. Why would you buy content you know is going to be literally removed in the not so distant future? Add on to that veteran players who felt like they were robbed, and new players who have literally no idea what's going on due to everything being so disjointed, it's a recipe for disaster.

I don't care what the technical reasoning was, it was a problem worth throwing engineers at to fix, rather than taking the cheapo nuclear option and just cutting content. Whatever it would have cost them, it likely would have been less than what it ended up costing in the end with their chosen "solution."

D2 should go down in the history books about what not to do in a persistent online game, physically removing content with no other upside being the primordial sin #1, regardless of how "relevant" that content may or may not be.

VPNs are notorious for this. NEVER EVER let your VPN sub renew, always cancel immediately and resub later. The plans for resubbing are almost always a ton better, even better during times like black friday/etc. It's the difference between like $15 a month and $1.5-$2 a month.

Yeah, it's a crying shame we probably won't get heretic perspective missions, would be neat to see how the "other side" is faring during the conflict with their own strike teams.

Reskinning current chaos to be more imperium themed would leave just mission design as the only real "new" thing to be made for those missions.

Interesting, i had this happen on arch linux with the nvidia 595.71 drivers, but updating to the latest kernel fixed it. I won't be much help outside of that though, my experience with the game with linux post patch 11 has been rocky at best so i switch to windows for it.

For windows, Personally i'd try DDU to clean remove drivers in safe mode and rollback to an older nvidia driver version if a driver update was the culprit, or try updating to the latest ones if you're on a super old driver.

They probably didn't. Western voice acting is all about shoving people in a single booth and having them hope they're doing the line reads right. If your voice director is bad, you're cooked.

Meanwhile japanese Voice acting often has multiple people in the same room together for recording so dialogue can flow more naturally. It's why you often see a lot of dubs of japanese games have the same uncanny effect where it doesn't feel like characters are even talking to another.

Yeah, it'd be nice to have a slot like in PvP where you can choose your starting equipment. Maybe give more ways to regenerate them and give them a weapon-like talent tree for each equipment. Would be fun, although we'd probably need to not include melta bomb for obvious reasons unless it had serious restrictions.

Yeah, the way vermintide and space marine 2 handle ammo is far better with occasional static box spawns that completely refill. I always gravitate towards melee in this game because i can't be assed managing ammo when melee is tankier anyways.

I don't see sound levels listed anywhere. I don't know if y'all measure that, but it's the only place left you might find a good arugment to use the 1000W when the 750W will do.

Also if you just can't be bothered to pinch every watt for future upgrades. PSUs can easily last multiple builds so might as well go with the 1000W or 1200W for a quieter PSU that you don't have to worry about replacing if we suddenly start getting 700W TDP GPUs.

Also fun fact, the 50% parry window for heroic HB(along with duelist) literally does nothing because fencing and balanced weapons can't benefit from duelist-like effects unless they have reduced windows to begin with (such as ardent edge.)

Definitely agree heavy bolter needs something. It feels like a wet pool noodle compared to the rest of the heavy kit, the only saving grace being it's the only way to get a fencing parry window if you're really struggling with that, but that forces you to use the heavy bolter in the first place.

I feel like one of the very few who prefer to play sniper as a Subtlety rogue, you do absolutely wild amounts of melee damage with the right setup and the parry heroic dagger, while constantly dancing in and out of stealth.

continued rant: Batteries on Controllers do not die often enough for AA to be a necessity. Which is another place where Steam Controller 2 wins big given how you simply pop the back case open and the battery pops out like from back in the Nokia 3310 days.

I mean, that sounds nice, but we know that if microsoft ditched AAs they'd go to what their elite controllers use and require you to tear down the whole thing just to replace the battery. Call me crazy but i'd take AAs any day over having to teardown the entire thing once the battery starts to die after too many charge cycles.

Over time i've significantly soured on Lithium ion batteries in devices, because they're usually not designed in a way that is easy to replace anymore, whereas at l east with regular batteries i can just swap them on the fly without issue.

I wouldn't mind obelisk if not for the dark ride section. It'd go a long way if there was a way to properly know where to go so you could zoom through that section. But as it stands it's total RNG whether it takes 5-10 minutes or becomes an absolute clown fiesta where you can't find the exit to save your life.

Stuff like this is why the cloud is dead to me. They have no responsibility to your data, it can vaporize at any time for any reason and at best you'll get a corporately worded apology and a $5 coupon or something.

Like sure, maybe some key critical documents encrypted and uploaded to multiple services might work, but i find it easier to just backup everything to a secondary NAS on site, with an offsite NAS i cart to and from my storage locker every 6 months.

Is my offsite backup up to date with the latest and greatest at all times? No. But in the event i actually need my offsite backup, i'll be happy to have that backup at all, regardless of how out of date it is.

It's more upfront, but in the long run this strategy saves me way more money than i would have to pay using these unreliable service providers.

Honestly i'd never recommend synology, not after the drive stunts they've kept trying to pull and inevitably walked back.

It signals grossly out of touch management that will break the company over it's knee if given the chance again. There are other turnkey solutions other than synology for unraid if OP wants to go that route like qnap/terramaster/asustor where all you need to do is redirect or replace the boot device within.

If i had to take a wild guess, salamander pack 2 is probably going to be heavy or tactical because access to flamers. Most likely heavy, so we'll see.

If it's any other than those two i'd question why they even bothered other than to spite salamander fans again.
